Dogs believe in destiny.
The very moment they meet someone,
their tails wag on their own, as if to say, "This is the one!"
And deep within their hearts,
they hear the sound of a future door opening.

Cats watch their bonds quietly.
"It's not like... I chose you or anything," they say,
looking away,
yet before you know it,
they are sitting in the warmest spot in the room.
(Truth be told, they felt at ease from the very start.)

The dog says,

The cat replies,
"Bonds are places the heart chooses ever so gently."

The dog heads straight toward people,
while the cat slowly snuggles up to them.
Walking different paths,
under the same roof,
the two weave a single story together.

And people realize:
that meeting a dog is a "light that opens the future,"
and meeting a cat is a "shadow that fills the heart."

Both destiny and bonds
are small miracles that descend upon our daily lives.
As if we chose them,
