[ZUMBA] "Let's Go Away" Commentary

I'm Ruka, a ZUMBA instructor in Yamagata Prefecture.

I've decided to start this commentary series to help us all really savor the songs we dance to in ZUMBA!

This time, I'm introducing "Let's Go Away" (Jack Massic feat. Julia Ross), a song that's popular with comments like, "I love that choreography!"

Actually, in official ZUMBA choreography, this song was a cool-down track—a light number to enjoy while doing stretches at the very end.

But it's too cool to just leave it at that, so in my ZUMBA classes, it's a song we always enjoy with my original Ruka choreography.

The tempo isn't fast, but it has a nice balance of mellow and upbeat moments, and there's something sexy about it that I just love.

Now, since the lyrics are actually quite energetic when you listen closely, let me introduce them to you.

Savoring the lyrics of "Let's Go Away"

To summarize the lyrics of this song in a nutshell, it goes something like this:

When you just listen to the sound, it gives a cool and stylish impression, but when you unravel the lyrics, there's a quite energetic and passionate message there.

It really is a song like a flame that burns quietly and silently.

And here is the phrase I want to highlight:

Now, this part is only for those who have joined my ZUMBA classes, but I've come to think that the choreography here actually fits the image quite well.

Anyway, this song features the word "fire" quite a lot.
