Platinum Blonde Madame
The story of an 86-year-old platinum blonde madame
I have a very concrete image of myself at 86 years old.
Wearing my platinum blonde hair up or down, dressed in glamorous Regina Romantico clothes, I am sitting in the same seat for my annual classical music subscription. I am completely natural, not seeking any special treatment, just spending time doing what I love.
On my feet, I wear flat shoes instead of heels. It is a choice to avoid falling. But I don't see it as a compromise; I see it as 'beauty for the sake of long-term enjoyment.'
I hold this future not as a 'dream,' but as a 'plan.'
This is because I feel that people only live the life they can envision. Conversely, things that can be envisioned concretely gradually become reality.
The annual classical music subscription, the Max Mara coat, the time spent at Hoshinoya, and the Regina Romantico clothes. I decide not 'someday,' but 'where in my life to place them.'
By placing them on my life's timeline in this way, I reduce the regret of 'I wanted to do it, but I didn't.'
I have bipolar disorder, and my life has certainly not been smooth sailing. Even so, I do work I have chosen myself, earn money, continue to be involved with music, and live with the cats I love.
On top of that, there is one more thing I want to build up.
Since this is still in the preparation stage, I will not write about it here.
But at 86, I am sure I will say this.
"I have truly savored this life to the fullest."
Best Actress Award.
And, the "Award for Living This Life Without Leaving Anything Behind."
That award is not something given by someone else, but something you decide for yourself.
That is why today, too, I will walk, even if just a little, toward the life I want to lead.
