How are you, Gorilla-sensei? Part 2
Gorilla🦍Inspired by Urimo-san and Yuni-san, I started writing a love story. Or something like that, and I'd like to try writing it again today.
How are you, Gorilla-sensei? Previous stories
I would like you to read Part 1 if possible, but I will also try to summarize it.
This story is non-fiction.
The delicate relationship between a high school art teacher (Gorilla-sensei) and a female student member (me, Love-ko).
Love-ko, who intended to just observe the club, ended up joining and being appointed as the next club president.
Gorilla-sensei wants to eat Love-ko's bento.
The bento ended up being sold, and their daily communication became very close.
Love-ko returned after working a long-term part-time job during summer vacation.
For the first time in a while, she went off-campus with Gorilla-sensei during club activities.
Confession
🦍"How was Sado Island?"
♥"It was fun!"
(Chatting away about events and the part-time job)
🦍"I'm kind of jealous."
♥"Eh?"
Well, of course it's more fun than club activities.
🦍"How much was your salary?"
What kind of question is that😂
♥"Um, about 200,000 yen."
Why did I answer that?😂
🦍...
♥"Why are you asking?"
🦍...
Without a word, he shows me a paper inside a brown envelope.
♥"Um, what is this?"
🦍"A pay stub."
♥...
🦍"Rabuko, don't go surpassing me."
It was a high-paying part-time job for a high school student at the time.
I think there was also a bonus because we were relatives.
I didn't really understand, but I felt like I had hurt Mr. Gorilla.
I felt dejected.
🦍"Shall we go get some soba?"
After eating soba with Mr. Gorilla, my dejected mood recovered.
When we talk in the suburbs, 🦍 always gives off a different vibe than usual.
It was like that this time, too.
🦍"Rabuko, do you have a boyfriend?"
♥"I don't!"
🦍"I won't forgive you if you get one on your own."
♥"What is that supposed to mean?"
I wanted to rebel and ask, "Are you my father?!"
🦍"I'll tell you in two years."
Huh? What?
At that moment, I pretended not to hear him, left the soba shop, and went back to club activities.
I wonder... I thought vaguely while sketching.
The hints were in the conversations we had until then.
"Rabuko would make a good wife."
"Teachers and students can't date, can they?"
I had ignored all of it.
I thought, "Could it be?" but the "No way" part of me won out and dismissed it.
Summer vacation ended.
The current president of the art club is a third-year, and I am a second-year vice-president.
The president was the type of person who rarely came to club activities and seemed to be a member just for the credits.
Suddenly, I was called out by that president.
I thought it might be about the handover or something, but
the place he called me to was the connecting corridor.
The connecting corridor is where couples at school spend their time.
Why this place?
I did wonder if it might be that, but
my prediction was spot on.
Love-ko was confessed to by her senior in the connecting corridor.
The president said he would wait for my answer, but I intended to turn him down.
Pissed off at Gorilla
It seems Gorilla-sensei saw the president and me talking in the connecting corridor.
🦍 "Are you dating the president?"
♥ "I am not."
🦍 "He's no good."
Why? Because he's handsome, popular, and in a band?
I wanted to say something, but I didn't particularly like the president, so I couldn't talk back.
🦍 "Do whatever you want."
♥ ...
🦍 "It's pathetic that you've never dated anyone, after all."
Pissed off
I guess this is what they mean by being pissed off. 😂
While my classmates were getting boyfriends and I was falling completely behind, this one remark from Gorilla really pissed me off.

I thought I could write it more easily.
