No-Simmer Keema Curry
A keema curry I tried making a long, long time ago.
After trying a 'make-it-yourself' curry kit from Muji and finding it 'too spicy,' I hadn't made it myself since, but I decided to give it another go.
It's another familiar recipe from Furao-san.
Since Furao-san is also a dad to a young child, I figured his keema curry wouldn't be too spicy.
I wonder if that hunch will be right?
No-Simmer Keema Curry

The ingredients called for 'king trumpet mushrooms,' but all I had at home that day were shiitake mushrooms.
It seems like any mushroom can be used as a substitute.
It also said that you can make it delicious using mixed vegetables.

The seasonings are simple♪
I had this image that keema curry required several different spices, so hearing that you use curry roux makes me feel a bit relieved.
Unlike microwave recipes that come together like magic, there are steps like mincing and sautéing, but it was still a simple way to make it.
For me, it was finished in no time!

An example of a dinner menu.

Report on the keema curry
My prediction that Furao-san's keema curry wouldn't be too spicy was spot on 🎯
You can decide the spiciness yourself by using your favorite roux.
Compared to other recipes so far, I can't say it's 'easy'.
If you aren't good with a knife, you can just use mixed vegetables to make it easy without any trouble!
Since you use ground meat, there's no need to chop anything, and there's no long simmering time, so I thought it was a great menu for people who want to eat curry but don't have time to simmer it today, or for those who want to host but aren't great at cooking.
If you put it on pasta, it becomes curry pasta, and for party menus, you can arrange it as pita bread sandwiches, or put cheese on top and bake it in the oven for a gratin-style dish. You can also make it spicy or mild by changing the roux.
Since you can make it mild and then adjust the spiciness individually with spices, it's suitable for all kinds of people.
Also, it is delicious, so I would love for you to try making this curry.
Since it does not contain potatoes, I think it is also suitable for freezing.
If you live alone, it would be good to portion it out into single servings and freeze them.
This keema curry is recommended for both those who dislike vegetables and those who love them, so please give it a try!

I feel a lack of ability in that regard as well.
And I feel like I've left something unfinished.
What are you talking about curry🍛
