This place, once a country that stood above the world, has now become a place divided and managed by the world's hegemons.
The causes are debated in many ways, but one of them is the division of its own people, fueled by the egos of great powers. The former citizens, who swayed back and forth with the events of the time, worshipped the power of their administrators in each respective region.
Each group excluded the others. They discriminated based on everything: race, religion, wealth, culture, science and technology, education, and so on. Even gender and personality.

And finally, discrimination began even based on the categorization of being a 'rain-bringer' or 'rain-maker'.

People driven from their regions were called 'rain-making refugees' and were treated as nuisances.
They were confined in a place surrounded by high walls, a place designated as having the highest annual rainfall, and only the chosen few were allowed to leave with a permit when rain was needed.

At one point, they raised their voices with desperate resolve, and it spread across social media.

'If hanging us and letting our blood rain down will moisten your lands, then at least let that flow reach the free ocean.'

The response 'How can you let it flow while it's still contaminated!' received 120 million likes.
