[Reading] Manga: The Great Money Adventure - The Golden Lion and the Five Powers - A story to learn about "financial wisdom"
Over the past two years or so, my husband has met people who achieved FIRE around the age of 40. Although he had been investing before, he felt that things weren't growing as well as they could, and at that moment, he was greatly inspired by hearing various stories from those people.
He has always been sensible with money, but recently he has been studying through books and YouTube, and it seems his knowledge has increased even further.
And because I am so ignorant about financial information, he gave me this book, which is a manga that is easy for even children to read (lol).

As I expected, it was easy to read and very clear, so I finished it in no time.
Because it progresses based on a story, it is written so that financial knowledge, which can be difficult with educational books alone, can be understood naturally.
With this, I think even elementary school students can read it without any problems and understand the flow of money in the world.
It seems there was also a project to donate this book to educational institutions.
It is very important for children to gain solid knowledge about money, and since it issomething lacking in Japanese education, it is a wonderful initiative.
In this world, there are many things that you can benefit from knowing, but I feel there are even more"things you lose out on if you don't know."
My husband often gets angry, saying that Japan in particular makes procedures complicated, trying to tire out people who want to avoid losses and make them give up.
Honestly, I find myself nodding in agreement with that opinion.
I myself sometimes think, "It's too late for me now" or "What's the point of studying that at this stage?" But no, no, it's never too late (though earlier is of course better).
Telling myself that, I intend to acquire financial knowledge, even if it's just a little at a time.
