A busy morning, and then I made a mistake!

I am doing work for the neighborhood association, and it is about time for the block leader to bring the association materials over. I am trying to stay home as much as possible.
Since the elderly block leader comes on foot, I feel bad about having them come multiple times...

The weather is nice, so I wonder if they will come??

I want to do laundry, air out the futons, and go shopping too. I am planning my strategy for what to do during my morning walk.
So, after seeing my husband off, I decided to go to the supermarket while the laundry was running. I had decided what to buy beforehand and went. Everything was fine up to that point, but when I got home, I suddenly realized something.

I used the Regi-Go system to shop, and there was an item I had put in my basket once. I remember putting it back on the shelf, thinking I would go with a more affordable option instead.

Huh??? I forgot to cancel it and paid for it... I messed up first thing in the morning.
I was spacing out.
I had no choice but to call the store and explain the situation. The staff member who handled it said, "We will refund you, so it is okay," in a kind and polite manner. I just said, "I am coming over now," and headed back to the store. I told them, "I am sorry for the trouble," received my money and the receipt, and came home. This is the first time I have made such a mistake. I was very embarrassed. However, the cashier was very polite and helpful. I must be grateful.

I returned home, hung out the laundry I had been washing, aired out the futons, and started a second load of laundry. I hung out the sheets as well, and my morning housework was finished.
It has been a long time since I walked around the house this much in such a short time.

Now then, will the block leader come today? While I take a break, I will read the book I have started.

Even though the day has just begun, I have already made various mistakes, but oh well.
