Happy New Year and a look back at last year
In 2025, what kind of sounds did you spend your year with?
Over the past year, I created 14 original Vocaloid songs.
Looking back, I feel they were less about "beautiful sounds" and more about
sounds for living alongside distortion and noise...
Centered on Lo-fi,
Ambient / Hip-hop / R&B / Glitch / Electro / Dreamcore
moving between the boundaries of genres,
it was a year where I poured my emotions at the time directly into sound.
Whether it was a "minus" event
or a "plus" moment,
I distorted it all, accepted it, and kept on living.
Songs that can bloom beautifully
even while sipping muddy water.
Honestly, 2025 was
a year where I sipped so much muddy water that I almost withered away.
Even so,
"The value that can only be found within suffering..."
I believe I was able to leave that behind in the sounds.
In 2026, I'm going for real.
I would be happy if these songs
could be gently placed in someone's room or on their way home.
