No.837 A place I want to visit regardless of the intense heat

Yesterday was a paid day off.
The destination I chose for an outing was,
of course, Kyoto.🦆

My destination this time was this bookstore.

The inspiration came from an article by one of my favorite creators.
(It was a place I had wanted to visit ever since I read it.)

As written in that article at the time, the books lined up before me looked as if they were alive.
And they also looked as if they were being carefully watched over by the owner.

The books themselves have a presence.
They must be objects, but I felt a definite warmth firsthand, so much so that it felt a waste for them to just end there. Since I was the only customer, the time I spent at the bookstore was truly blissful.

During the day, it was so hot that my energy felt like it was melting away!
However, by the time the sun set, the heat had settled down, and I took a light stroll while looking up at the sky, which was painting beautiful patterns.

With that, I was able to spend this paid day off in a very satisfying way.✨
