From 'Now' Onwards (A Certain Day's Lovebird Incident)
Now
Stop saying 'if only I had...'
or
'if only I hadn't...'
.
Regretting
past choices
won't change the present.
What you can change is
the future from now on
and
your interpretation of
past events.
Stop sowing seeds of regret
and blooming flowers of repentance.
No matter how beautiful that may be,
it only
tempts you
toward ruin.
The sun begins to show its face
in the eastern sky.
This morning is
a clear, cloudless day.
The morning sun is dazzling.
Surely,
things
will get better from here.

🐣Here is a little story.
'Regret? Did you mess up again?'
'That's not it, pi!'
'Then what's with this hand?'
After the bloodshed incident
(it's just a scab from being bitten).
'I-it's all a work of 'love', pi~'
Flap flap~ (He ran away~💦)
Recently, my rebellious child (a lovebird) has been biting my hands and causing bloodshed incidents.
#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout

Setting aside the bloodshed, being bitten by a beak until it draws blood is certainly painful, isn't it? 🥲
It seems that for peach-faced lovebirds, around 5 to 6 months of age is their rebellious phase before becoming adults, and come to think of it, feathers have been falling out a lot lately, perhaps due to molting. 🪽
They say that starting from this period, they begin choosing their partners for when they become adults.
The repeated, strong 'biting' is apparently...
'Look only at me more~'
...the flip side of that. 💦
They say that if you focus solely on your peach-faced lovebird and give them your attention for just 10 minutes, 2 to 3 times a day, it won't turn into a biting habit and they will calm down.
Also, since things like sleep affect their hormones, it is important to cover them with a cloth or similar at night so as not to wake them, and keep things dark and quiet.
It's just like humans. ☺️💞
🍀 Thank you very much for reading until the end. ✨
