A Little About Myself... | 4 Hours Floating in the Hot Spring | Meeting a Cat-Senior, and Thinking About the Value of 'Love Directed Toward Others' in the AI Era♨️
Lately, I've been as busy as ever creating secondary accounts, writing articles, and organizing traffic flow, so I am quite sleep-deprived.
In my head, things like static pages, sales pages, headers, XXX, external traffic sources, XXX, the Thursday series...
All those things have been spinning around and around.
In the midst of all that, today I went a little further out than usual to a hot spring facility I don't normally visit.
Why?
Because the carbonation, the bubbles, were calling to me (lol
Two hours round trip.
Given my current sleep situation, that's quite a challenge.
But humans are strange creatures; even when my reason tells me, 'Don't do it today,' I find I can't resist the temptation of the bubbles.
And today, as always, there were some intense seniors there.
While in the bath, I naturally overheard this.
“My place, you see, it's a family of seven, so it's tough~”
Oh.
A large family, a rarity these days, I thought to myself naturally.
After all, he was a very senior gentleman, so his voice was quite imposing (lol
However, as I listened, it all seemed a bit disjointed.
The conversation didn't connect.
It jumped around.
There was no punchline.
How should I put it? It was a different kind of 'I don't know what he's talking about' than the 'I can't understand a word he's saying' senior who has no teeth; this was a 'I don't really know what he wants to say' senior.
For a moment,
“Hmm? Brain... are you okay?”
I thought, but eventually, it clicked.
This senior, the only bipedal member of his family.
The remaining six were all quadrupedal cats.
In other words, a family of seven in total.
Yes, today there was no need to strain my brain; it was a straight-shooting senior,
a Cat-Senior
(lol
The people around him also seemed stunned for a moment at first.
But once the breakdown of his family composition became clear,
the atmosphere in the room softened.
People looking down to suppress their laughter.
People with relaxed mouths.
An indescribable, gentle atmosphere.
If you only follow the logic of the conversation, honestly, it's a bit suspicious.
It jumps here and there, and the landing point slides a bit sideways.
But even so, one thing came through strongly.
This person really feels he must stay healthy for the sake of his precious family.
He intends to take care of them no matter what happens.
That part, beyond the way the words were arranged, came through clearly.
This is actually quite important.
Perhaps people don't just perceive others based on the consistency of their words.
not.
What that person is trying to protect.
What they hold dear.
Where their affection is directed.
Those things, unexpectedly, come across before the eloquence of their explanation.
I think the analysis I do is, in the end, the work of reading those 'things that seep through.'
Whether it's the iris, facial expressions, posture, voice, pauses, or atmosphere.
Humans are creatures that leak what is inside them to the outside more than they realize.
It cannot be explained by logic, but
“Ah, this person truly has something they want to protect.”
there are moments when you feel that.
Today, Cat-senpai had exactly that.
And from here, it connects just a little bit to the topic of AI.

Recently, I have been looking at several documents regarding the evolution of AI, and they discussed that the arrival of superintelligence might be faster than expected, and that this change might not just end as a convenient tool, but could be on a scale that restructures society itself.
Parts of our work will be increasingly automated.
Administration, organization, searching, summarizing, design assistance, scheduling.
Those things will likely shift more and more toward the AI side in the future.
But precisely because of that, something stands out in contrast.
That is, the value of connecting with others .
Caring for someone.
Looking after them.
Being there for them.
Watching over them.
Softening the atmosphere.
Sensing what is happening inside the other person.
These things cannot be measured by efficiency alone.
The reason Cat-senpai suddenly changed the atmosphere of the hot spring facility was not a matter of information volume or logic, but likely because there was a 'feeling directed toward a precious being' within that person.
People who talk about the future of AI, in the end, are not just talking about technology; they are starting to talk about who will be left behind in that evolution.
Who should be supported?
Where should we reposition the value of humanity?
They are starting to talk about things like that.
It is not just a matter of efficiency.
It is a very human story.
And I find myself thinking.
You cannot give bread you do not have.
That is precisely why, if those who talk about the future of AI are discussing not only profit, speed, and performance, but also redistribution, care, and human dignity,
then there must be, at the very least, a gaze directed toward others within them.
Of course, it may not just be idealism.
Responsibility, a sense of crisis, and self-defense are likely mixed in as well.
But even so, I feel that without a gaze directed outward,
such words would not come out.
When I thought about that, I suddenly remembered Tara-senpai as well.
That person is not just someone who hands out fish.
He teaches you where the fish are,
teaches you how to fish,
and even tries to teach you the mindset for when you catch them.
Moreover, he does it for100 yen a month,
a price that goes against the grain of this inflationary era.
Honestly, that is quite strange (lol
(I'm sorry, even though I'm a member and am being taught by him)
Even though everything in the world is getting more expensive,
that one thing is perfectly in the midst of deflation.
If you think about it normally, it should be sustainable even if it were more expensive.
No, it would actually be more natural that way.
Yet, the fact that he keeps it at that price
suggests that he is likely not calculating profit and loss at all.
He wants to increase the number of companions.
He wants to increase the number of people who can achieve results.
He doesn't want to win alone; he wants to increase the number of people who can laugh together.
I feel that without that kind of empathy for others, or something like altruism,
that pricing would not exist.
Even though he is a person with a well-developed business brain,
the 'human' side of him strangely appears here and there.
That is likely what makes him so interesting.
Cat-senpai is the same.
The people talking about the future of AI are the same.
Tara-senpai is the same.
In the end, what people respond to in the end may not be just well-organized explanations, but
who that person is facing
.
And that is probably the part that I am drawn to as well.
But—
Tara-senpai is certainly no ordinary person, but
he is probablya pervert👇
