Press Conference / [Meteorite Uncle] Weekly Short Short Note

A sketch assignment from summer vacation.
I was startled when I saw the picture of Mt. Fuji on the desk next to me.
Sasaki-san's drawing showed a very beautiful Mt. Fuji, but
there was a person flying nearby.
A boy in the class started teasing her.
"Sketching is about drawing what you see."
I stood up and stood in front of her.
"Cut it out."
I defended her, but I didn't know what to say.
That person is my Meteorite Uncle.
He's the uncle who uses the speed of a meteorite to come visit our house every summer vacation.
If I told the truth that she wasn't a liar, it would be revealed that I am an alien.
She said,
"It's okay. I know.
This person is a hero who came from space to protect the Earth."
She must have really seen him, with those clear eyes of hers.
I didn't want to make her a liar.

"That's why I became a hero."
Now that I'm an adult, I've become a hero in both name and reality.
At the press conference announcing my marriage.
"And the girl from that time is the woman who will become my wife."
I announced that.
