A dialogue between the 'world' and 'you' alone
There is a fear that comes with knowing your own potential.
Humans can be just as afraid of 'truly becoming someone' or 'seeing their own essence' as they are of 'failing.' Once you take that step and create something, you can never go back to being the 'you who did nothing.' It is the fear of knowing your limits, or conversely, the fear of being swallowed by the magnitude of the passion sleeping within you.
This applies to art and everything else, but
there is a 'state' before there is a 'result'
'Evaluation' is the domain of others
'Expression' and 'assertion' are your domain
There are 'truths' that can only be born in places where no one is watching
A single line drawn in solitude, or a space placed quietly, pierces the world more sharply the quieter it is.
Being Japanese, being male, female, or transgender, and even language itself, are merely facts that adhere to you as a result.
The true value of effort lies not in 'comparison with others,' but in 'change from where you currently stand.'
The wisdom of not putting effort into a 'game you cannot win'
When you feel that 'effort is futile,' it is often the case that you are 'in the wrong place (game) to fight,' so tomorrow I will simply express art.
Things 'anyone can do' and
'being art' are completely different things
Anyone can do what I am about to do
questions and relationships (the act)
Many people only look at the 'physical difficulty of the task.' When they see a passion they cannot understand or a free action that transcends profit and loss, some people become anxious and unconsciously try to drag it down to the scale they know ('anyone can do it,' 'is it profitable?').
Overwhelming trust in strangers and the courage to accept unpredictable situationsare required for this, and tomorrow in Paris, I will perform an extremely sophisticated and brave expression that could never be done without them.
