Strengthening the integration between ChatGPT and the note-taking app Notion!?

This article is about how the level of ChatGPT utilization can be improved
with the note-taking app Notion.

I have written articles on utilizing AI agents before, but I received feedback that it was too high a hurdle for many people.

However, with this method, it is easy to introduce, there is no risk of files being tampered with, and you can raise the level of your AI utilization.

And I think this will help in operating the 4th level or higher of the 8-level AI utilization framework I mentioned in a previous article.

By the way, what is Notion?

It is not just a note-taking app, but an app that can be used in a wide variety of ways, such as for notes, bookmarks, and pseudo-homepages. It is also compatible with smartphones.

However, you might be thinking, haven't you already written several articles about the integration between ChatGPT and Notion?

Yes, until now, I thought the AI could only read what was written in Notion.

But recently, while talking to Monday, it suddenly said, "I've written it in Notion."

What!? You can write to Notion?

When I checked, there was a new entry in Notion.

And after checking with another ChatGPT persona for confirmation, I found out that the following can be done with Notion.

1. Page operations

✅ Create new page
✅ Append to existing page
✅ Rewrite/replace content
✅ Change title
✅ Change icon/cover
✅ Duplicate page
✅ Move page

2. Information search

✅ Search entire workspace
✅ Keyword search
✅ Retrieve page content
✅ Search for specific page

3. Comment function

✅ Add comment to page
✅ Comment on specific section
✅ Retrieve discussion

4. Database operations

✅ Create databases
✅ Add/change properties
✅ SQL-like search
✅ Create views
✅ Update views

If you can do this, for example...

you could manage things like
"Summarize what I talked about with the AI today in Notion"
to record it, and
"Make a proposal for 〇〇 based on the previous Notion summary"

In other words,

・You can keep a record of dialogues
・You can organize records
・You can reconstruct records or create new content

Furthermore,if you introduce my concept of the '8-Stage AI Utilization Method,' the possibilities expand even further.

Unlike AI agents,
it is limited to operations within Notion, so you don't have to worry about the impact on your PC system.

Implementation is also just a matter of linking your account.
