Reached Rating 1900 [S16 Team Build] Gouging Fire-Latios Team
[Team Introduction]
Gouging Fire/Primarina/Dragonite/Urshifu/Gholdengo/Latios
[Individual Analysis]

Gouging Fire @ Sitrus Berry
Tera Type: Fairy
Nature: Jolly
Moves: Flare Blitz/Dragon Claw/Morning Sun/Dragon Dance
EVs: AS252
I added this because I fell in love with its design. I tried various items like Choice Scarf, Loaded Dice, and Booster Energy, but Sitrus Berry was the most consistent.
The basic strategy was Dragon Dance -> Morning Sun for recovery -> Flare Blitz or Dragon Claw. Against unfavorable matchups, I would use Tera Fairy or force a breakthrough with the Sitrus Berry.
Since it can basically survive at least one hit, it was a Pokémon I never regretted bringing.

Primarina @ Light Clay
Tera Type: Fire
Nature: Bold
Ability: Torrent
Moves: Flip Turn/Moonblast/Reflect/Light Screen
EVs: HB252
As a screen setter, there isn't much to say, but the Torrent-boosted Flip Turn after setting up screens was stronger than I imagined. Gouging Fire covers its Electric and Grass weaknesses, so I often brought them together.
Selection Rate... 3rd

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Tera Type: Normal
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Multiscale
Moves: Extreme Speed/Outrage/Earthquake/Iron Head
EVs: AS252
The strongest. That's all there is to it. The power of Choice Band Tera Normal Extreme Speed is addictive.
I trusted it so much that if I was ever unsure, I would just pick this one.Well, there isn't much else to write.

Urshifu @ Choice Scarf
Tera Type: Water
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Unseen Fist
Moves: Surging Strikes/Close Combat/Iron Head/U-turn
EVs: AS252
With a Choice Scarf and Jolly nature, it can outspeed most Pokémon.
I used to run Focus Sash and Adamant, but it was weak in mirrors, so I switched to Jolly.
Selection Rate... 4th

Gholdengo @ Choice Specs
Tera Type: Steel
Nature: Timid
Ability: Good as Gold
Moves: Make It Rain/Shadow Ball/Nasty Plot/Trick
EVs: CS252
It was simply strong because it had various options: spamming Make It Rain or Shadow Ball against favorable matchups, or using Trick against unfavorable ones.
Selection Rate... Tied for 4th

Latios @ Focus Sash
Tera Type: Steel
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
Moves: Draco Meteor/Luster Purge/Flash Cannon/Flip Turn
I added this because I thought it had great synergy with Gouging Fire. My prediction was correct, and together they were able to defeat most opponents.

[Regarding Team Selection]
The basic lead is Raging Bolt-Gouging Fire-Terapagos or Raging Bolt-Gouging Fire-Dragonite.
VS Flutter Mane/Urshifu -> Urshifu-Gouging Fire-Terapagos
VS Raging Bolt -> Basic lead
VS Chien-Pao -> Gholdengo-Dragonite + @
[Thoughts]
In terms of usability, I could handle Raging Bolt by setting up screens and using Dragon Dance with Gouging Fire, but it was quite difficult.
