Monaka's All Clear Today! 239 "The Reason for a Slowly Flowing Morning"

Mom calls it "Nyalsock" when I look outside every morning. It's not that I'm paying attention to anything in particular. I'm just looking out, wondering what the weather is like today.
Is it because of what Dad called the "rainy season"? A bright, refreshing morning just won't come. Today, too, the sky was covered in white clouds, and only the wind flowed quietly.
As I was gazing at that sky, Dad and the others woke up.
However, it was different from a usual morning. No one was in a hurry. Even though the clock was ticking, the time inside the house seemed to be flowing slowly.
It seems it's their day off.
I go out to the balcony with Dad. The humid wind is a little cool and carries the scent of rain from afar.
After a while, Komachi-senpai also came out to the balcony.
Walking here, walking there... she seems to have some business with Dad.
Watching that scene from a little distance away is Miyabi-senpai. As always, she isn't flustered, and she is looking at the scenery with a calm expression.

I really love the mornings on Dad and Mom's days off.
No one rushes, and no one is in a hurry.
Just having that atmosphere spread throughout the house makes us feel at ease, strangely enough.
After a while, my brother and sister woke up.
I heard the sounds of them getting ready, and the atmosphere of a usual morning gradually returned.
Even so, Dad and Mom remained the same.
They spent their time laughing as if enjoying the leisurely pace.
After the two of them left, Dad and the others also set off for shopping.

Listening to that voice, I stay home by the window with Komachi-senpai and Miyabi-senpai.
By the time evening came, Dad and the others returned.

There wasn't anything in particular that caught my eye.
For dinner, we all had fish.
Everyone gathered and ate with gusto.
Komachi-senpai, Miyabi-senpai, and of course me, we were all focused until our plates were empty.
After finishing our delicious meal, it was time to play.
The moment Dad took out the cat teaser, the eyes of the three of us lit up all at once.
Jumping, running, hiding.
Komachi-senpai aims gracefully, Miyabi-senpai dives powerfully, and I chase after it with all my might, refusing to lose.
Laughter echoed throughout the room, and it became such a lively night that I forgot all about the rainy sky.
When we had played a lot and were satisfied.
I heard that familiar gentle voice.
"Time for bed."
When I heard that voice, I headed to the third floor of the cat house as usual.
On the way, Dad gently picked me up and carried me straight to my favorite spot.
It was a peaceful day today, too.
I will surely look outside tomorrow morning as well.
Whether it's sunny, cloudy, or rainy, it doesn't matter.
I feel like the same gentle time as today is waiting beyond that.
All clear today, too.
