Guided by DALL-E 3, enjoying coffee and pancakes at a cafe in the early afternoon
This time, I decided to use DALL-E 3, the image generation AI available for free via
Bing Image Creator, to bring the ideal early afternoon in my mind to life.
To begin with, I enjoy drawing people and character illustrations.
However, I don't find much joy in drawing backgrounds or landscapes.
In other words, I'm not good at it.
That's right.
You should rely on AI for the things you're not good at
I had kept my distance from
generative AI, watching it from afar, but
this time, I decided to
take a step closer.

Since it also supports Japanese prompts,
I will immediately try writing down my "ideal early afternoon."
"I want to enjoy pancakes and coffee at an old-fashioned cafe..."
While vaguely imagining it in my head, I wrote it down casually.

With my heart full of anticipation, I pressed the generate button, and what I found was...!
"Eating pancakes while looking out at a desert region."
Is this the trend in the AI world?
However, I cannot ignore the reaction echoing in my heart.
(That's not quite right!!)
When I review the prompt,
I didn't write "inside the cafe."
This was my lack of explanation. My apologies.

The use of tableware is quite novel.
I was able to move from the terrace seat overlooking the desert to inside the cafe.
The relief was only for a moment.
It is still far from the image in my head.
I thought there were a bit too many things, so

Also, if there is a feeling of sunlight streaming in,
that would be even better.

After persistently explaining while changing the phrasing, saying things like
it's fine if no people appear,
a certain problematic piece
was born.
