The Strategy of a Drama Analysis YouTuber is Amazing
Thank you so much for always watching!
Thanks to you, I've been able to keep my note going.
I started thinking, I wonder if I could interview the YouTuber I usually watch.
I took the plunge and sent a DM♪
To my surprise, I was able to meet the comedian Hyodo Tetsu-nii!
I love watching dramas, and I learned about him through his drama analysis channel.
I was surprised that he correctly guessed the culprit in the Sunday Theater drama 'My Family' Σ(゚Д゚)

I was amazed at the speed of his progress, watching him go from starting his channel to monetization in just half a year.
Also, I felt that even in his drama analysis videos, he was filming based on various strategies, so I wanted to hear his thoughts and asked him, knowing it might be a burden (>_<)
Things that surprised me when we met
He is just huge
Watching his collaboration videos, I knew he was a former draft candidate, so I figured he must be quite large, but he is truly huge‼️
I was worried about whether I'd be able to meet him for the first time, but it was no problem at all! Lol
It wasn't just his physique; I felt the breadth of his knowledge and his human depth, and since I was nervous about meeting him, a wave of relief washed over me.
For example, the pauses between questions.
I really need to improve my listening skills💦
Even when there was a slight pause, he kept the conversation going.
Connections, conversational skills, and creativity
Jokes aside.
Talking with him was a series of surprises.
Why did he decide to become a comedian, why did he start YouTube, and what kind of strategy is he using to run it?
I had a mountain of things I wanted to ask.
Since he was originally a salaryman, I started by asking about his previous job.
In sales, he targeted the stakeholders of his stakeholders and fought thoroughly in a blue ocean, which led him to achieve the number one sales record in Western Japan.
He told me about the challenge of choosing to work as a freelancer for a while in the world of comedy, where agency power is strong.
I was even more impressed by his talk about the future.
He shared words from his first wife, who passed away from illness:
"Life is about working backward from the goal."
He talked about wanting to do certain things with certain people in X years.
He spoke in a way that allowed me to visualize it concretely,
and I felt that if he continues like this, he will definitely achieve it.
It was also a lesson in how to speak
He also gave me advice on SNS management.
While I was distracted by how amazing the content was, looking back, I realized there was a lot to learn from his way of speaking as well.
It's not what you say, but who says it, but
Hyodo-san's way of explaining his achievements is concise and easy to understand.
For example, just by presenting the fact that he has "2,500 Facebook friends," it serves as a level of credibility that explains the breadth of his connections.
Also, when they explained the situation of drinking beer.
They performed the gesture of drinking beer every time, speaking in a way that made the image come to life visually.
It goes without saying that the character of Hyodo-san exists, but when I actually met them and saw them up close, it was an eye-opening experience where I realized, 'Oh, this is how I should be speaking!'
In conclusion
In any case, I was able to receive such powerful energy! 💪
I am sure that if I hadn't met them at this exact time, they would be even more active and busy than they are now, and I wouldn't have been able to hear their story.
The conversation was interesting and thought-provoking,
and I ended up listening to them for an hour longer than originally planned.
Thank you for reading until the end‼️
I am interviewing other people as well, so I would be happy if you could take a look at those articles too😆
