[True Story] What was the "trick" that recorded 836 views with only 13 followers?
"I thought it was my best work..."
One night after posting on note.
"Maybe there will be lots of reactions when I wake up in the morning...!"
With that excitement in my heart, I open my smartphone, but—
I am instantly brought back to "reality."
There is only one notification saying "So-and-so liked your post."
Thinking "No way..." I checked the view count, and it was in the single digits
.
It's not being read at all...
"Isn't note supposed to get more reactions?"
"Maybe this isn't for me after all..."
With that feeling,
my chest feels like it's being crushed.
"I read it!
It was a wonderful note!"
I feel like a fool for dreaming
that I would receive feedback like this—
Haven't you experienced this kind of "despair" yourself?
It's not read. It doesn't sell. There's no "sense of reaching anyone"—
Actually, there are
surprisingly many people
who are suffering in the same way.
Of course, without exception,
I was the same.
I posted on note for the first time in my life on
March 14, 2020.
The second post was on March 28.
It was 5 years ago, so my memory is a bit hazy, but
"It wasn't a massive response"
This much I am certain of.
It was what you might call"a dead calm."
I just checked the access numbers for these two posts again, but...

Look at the state of it.
Even after 5 years and 2 months,
about 1,860 days have passed, and yet
only 300 views...
On this account,
I haven't posted a single note since then.
Can't you just
feel my "state of mind"
at the time...?
Today, too, wonderful notes are being buried.
However, I understand now that,
it is not necessarily
"not being read = bad content"
the case.
"It's a wonderful note, but
it's been buried"
Tragedies like this are likely happening
everywhere at this very moment.
And yet, many people think,
"It's because my writing is bad..."
"It's because the content is boring..."
And, you are making a big mistake about it.
"I need to improve my writing skills more...!"
"I need to make my articles more interesting...!"
And so, you are misplacing your "effort."
Of course,
those efforts are also necessary.
However, I
"Aren't you putting your effort into the wrong things...?"
can't help but feel that way.
"I want people to read this...!"
"I want people to buy this...!"
You are working hard with this single-minded focus.
And yet,
you are not getting the results you expected.
When that happens, in the worst-case scenario,
you might even stop writing on note altogether——
Don't you think it's a waste to
give up
while still
under a "misunderstanding"?
A "pitfall" that is easy to overlook
The "reason it isn't read"
is actually in a much simpler place.
Simply put,
"It's just not known"
that's all.
"Huh? Is that it?"
You might have felt let down by that.
But, if you think about it calmly,
isn't it just common sense?
"A note whose existence is unknown
can never be read."
Conversely,
the fact that you are publishing a note
"getting people to know about it"
Just by doing this,
the number of reads will increase significantly, and
if it's a paid note, the number of
purchases will simply increase as well.
In other words,
whether or not your note "gets read"
depends on whether or not people
"get to know about it" in the first place.

The "trick" to get people to
know about the existence of my note
Just by doing this,
I had a note that produced results
that even surprised me.
That was the
so-called "heavily modified note"
that was available for a limited time of 3 days
from 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 20th
to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23rd.
Here are the view counts for it ↓

836 views in 72 hours
That calculates to 12 views per hour,
or one view every 5 minutes.
Naturally, this includes late nights and early mornings
while you were fast asleep,
so in terms of actual experience,
it was being read at an even faster pace.
(Thank you so much, truly)
Compared to a note that was
just tossed out without any "tricks",
it's obvious, isn't it?
🔻 A note published since 12:00 on April 9th
that has no "tricks" applied

(approx. 0.15 views/1h)
Of course, since the content is different,
a simple comparison isn't possible.
Even so.
Don't you think the "difference is just too great"?
This is the power of the "trick".
Even when comparing by simple view count,
[15 times] more people have seen it, and
when looking at "views per hour",
it's a staggering[80 times].
You might think, "Wasn't it just because you had a lot of followers?"
You might think that, but
that is absolutely not the case.
The number of followers I had when I posted my
"heavily modified note" is as follows.

To put it mildly,
you could never call that "a lot."
(If anything, looking at the numbers alone, I was a total weakling)
As this result shows,
whether or not people will read your work
really has nothing to do with your follower count.
"Whether people will know about it or not"
With just this,
the scenery you see changes completely.
"Ingenuity" to reach many people
Even if you say "get people to know about it",
honestly,
"I worked hard and wrote a note!"
"It took me a whole week!"
"It's 19,000 characters long!"
"Please take a look!"
Just repeating this level of promotion
would not have been enough
to get 836 people
to notice it.
I am not Horiemon, nor am I
Jun Matsumoto orMei Naganoor Haruna Kawaguchi.
If you were one of these
so-called "influencers",
"I published a note! Check it out♪"
would be enough
to reach a fair number of people.
But I am,
just an ordinary joker
found anywhere.
"I published a note! Please check it out♪"
There is no way
anyone would read it just because of that.
That is precisely whyI needed "ingenuity"
to reach many people even with small influenceto
succeed.
・When carrying heavy luggage, use a dolly instead of brute force
・When opening a tight lid, use a towel to prevent slipping instead of forcing it
Those of us who aren't muscular bodybuilders
use these kinds of "ingenuity"
in our daily lives, right?
(If you are a muscular bodybuilder, sorry)
It's the same with note.
To reach many people
with little effort,
"ingenuity" is necessary.
It is also used in the real world
Actually, in the real world too,
every company
to "get known"
is making various efforts.
For example... let's see...
I think it's easy to imagine
if you think about the release of a new movie.
Just the other day,
a new installment was released on May 23rd
"Mission: Impossible"
It's a series I love.

(so cool...)
Of course, I have seen all the past works,
and I will definitely go to the theater to see this new one as well.
So, what exactly is the production side doing
to get more people to
"know about" this movie?
Let's take a look together.
The "trick" of "Mission: Impossible"
The first trailer was released on YouTube in
November 2024.
Starting with this,
they continued to upload related videos regularly afterward.
Among them, there were also
"making-of videos" showing the behind-the-scenes of the production.
Of course,
it is also being posted frequently
on the official X account.

It is not just X.
They are also promoting it aggressively
on Instagram and TikTok.

In this way,
・YouTube users
・X users
・Instagram users
・TikTok users
they are approaching users
on every platform.
When May, the month of release, arrived,
a world tour was held.

The opening location was Japan.
On May 6th,
the cast and staff, including Tom Cruise,
came to Japan.

Since it was a very lavish event,
various media outlets covered it.
In other words,
you can get the media to "help spread the word."
Individuals who actually attended the event
would likely spread it on social media "on their own."
Starting May 17th, advance screenings began.
“Since it’s going to be released normally on the 23rd anyway,
is there any point to advance screenings?”
You might think so, but...
It is incredibly meaningful.
Those who come to the advance screening are
enthusiastic fans who think, "I want to experience it sooner than anyone else!"
What will they do after watching it...?
That's right, "posting impressions and reviews."
In other words, the customers become your "advertising towers."
This means the internet will get even more excited
leading up to the release on the 23rd.
Starting May 19th,
there will be a collaboration with the Conan movie already in theaters.

You can let "Conan fans"
know about the existence of Mission: Impossible,
and
for "Mission: Impossible fans",
they can learn about the existence of the Conan movie.
It's a so-called "collaboration"
that benefits both sides.
And to top it off,
they are also airing past works in succession
on Friday Road Show (terrestrial TV).

Naturally, before and after the main feature,
the new movie is being advertised.
They are leaving nothing to chance
to ensure that even users who "never look at the internet"
find out about it.
Even just from my quick research,
they were doing all of this.
(I'm sure they are doing
other "tricks" behind the scenes that I don't know about)
When the existence of a new movie is advertised
using so many different methods,
almost every Japanese citizen
"A new Mission Impossible
movie is being released"
Isn't it the case that you are already
"aware" of this fact?
What if you neglect to "make people aware"...?
I want you to think a little
about the opposite scenario.
To take an extreme example...
What would happen if this new moviewas released "quietly"
without anyone knowing?
.
.
.
Yes, the Joker would be furious.
"What!? I didn't hear about this!" he would rampage.
.
.
.
Excuse me, I let my personal feelings get in the way.
No, that's not it.
As you might imagine,
the audience turnout will drop significantly.
After all,
if you don't go to the movie theater,
you won't even
notice that it's being shown.
"I worked hard on it, so people will watch it" is an illusion.
For film production,
an insane amount of money and time is spent.
Regarding the
latest installment of "Mission: Impossible",
・Estimated production cost of $400 million (approx. 57.5 billion yen)
・Over 3 years of production time
In other words,
they are working incredibly hard.
The lead actor, Tom Cruise, is
already over sixty years old, yet
he is taking on action scenes
without a stunt double, you know?
The staff and cast are all
working like demons.
Of course,
the work itself is "top-notch".
In other words,
・They spent an absurd amount of money and time
・They worked insanely hard to create it
・It is a super high-quality work
is what that means.
Even for a work like that!
"It is unknown"
Just because of this,
it won't be seen.
This is extremely important, so
I want you to remember it well.
・If you work hard to create a product, people will see (buy) it
・If it is a high-quality product, people will see (buy) it
This is an illusion (as cruel as it may be).
Only after you manage to "get known"
can you reach many people.
(To be precise, that is when the "possibility" is born.)
If you are not known,
it is the same as "not existing."
Let's also make an effort to "get known."
Let's bring the conversation back to our world.
You want
the note you wrote so hard
to be read by many people,
and you want them to buy it.
This is certain, isn't it?
If so, let's be
just as dedicated to
getting people to know us.
With just a little "ingenuity",
you will be able to reach
dozens of times more peoplethan your follower count, like I did.
If it's a paid note,
the number of purchases
will naturally increase as well.
"But I can't possibly handle
YouTube, X, Instagram, and TikTok all at once..."
"I can't afford to spend money on promotion or advertising..."
"I can't afford to spend money
on promotion or advertising..."
Rest assured.
The Mission Impossible example
is just an "example".
To "get people to know" about my "heavily modified note",
Ionly used one SNS (just X), and
it didn't cost a single yen.
Therefore, everything I did
is something you can do as well.
Full disclosure of what I did to get people to know about my "heavily modified note"
To "get people to know" about my "heavily modified note",
what exactly was the "trick" I used?
I have prepared a project
to share all of that
with you.
What I was doing behind the scenes
of that "heavily modified note."
I will deliver those
real and raw "examples" to you.
Specifically,
I will cover content such as the following:
・What should be conveyed in posts "before" publication?
・The intention behind the post "at the time" of publication
・What I was intensely conscious of in posts "after" publication
・The strategic reason I dared to choose a specific day of the week for publication
・The behind-the-scenes "trick" that gathered 43 "passionate impressions"
・How to "semi-forcibly" make people aware of the note's existence
・The reason I was able to borrow the influence of "power users" to get it widely spread
You are welcome to
steal and use any of the useful essence here.
I want you to make full use of this
as a "reproducible tactic"
to get your note "known".
Please check the details of the project
from the link below.
>>> See details of the "Note Promotion Strategy Office"
Toward a future where your work is "read" and "bought"
In order to get your note
"read",
first and foremost,
it isessential to "get it known".
This isn't just a matter of
"it would be better if people knew about it."
It is something that"must be known."
Essential, absolute, a must.
And, as long as it isn't read,
naturally, it cannot be bought either.
A note you wrote with all your heart.
There is definitely someone who can be saved by that note.
That is why I want it to properly reach the people it should reach.
To that end,
you should stock up on as many ways as possible
to "get known."
Well then,
I look forward to your participation in the project.
