The measured length is about 70cm. It's sufficient for use in the driver's seat, but there are many situations where I think it would have been more comfortable if it were about 1m long.
Depending on the seating position, I think most people in the passenger seat wouldn't be able to reach it while trying to use their device while charging.
However, if the cable were longer, the unit itself would also be larger. Given the structure of a retractable cable, I understand that this was likely the realistic limit.
Regarding this point,there is a solution.
The unit is equipped with another USB-C port, so there is no problem if you plug in a cable of your preferred length separately.
For passengers, it's comfortable to have a longer cable ready.
