New Toilet Time
It seems many people go to the bathroom during commercial breaks on commercial television.
I think the most famous example is during the time slots when the Japanese national team plays in the FIFA World Cup.
Since it apparently affects the water usage in Tokyo, I thought it was an event with a significant impact.
When I am watching a TV show I like, I imagine people take breaks like going to the bathroom during the commercial breaks.
When I was watching a movie on Amazon Prime Video, a commercial was forced to play in the middle of it.
Commercials before the movie starts are fine, but having one commercial inserted in the middle is bothersome.
I want to watch the movie continuously, so I feel quite stressed.
I don't feel stressed when I pause it myself to go to the bathroom, but I feel strangely stressed when a commercial is inserted once during a movie.
There is a big difference in stress depending on whether it is for my own convenience or Amazon's convenience.
So, I decided to change my way of thinking.
The idea is that since Amazon is worried about me going to the bathroom about 40 minutes after the movie starts, I will go to the bathroom.
If I use the method of pausing during the commercial, taking a short break, and then resuming, I won't feel stressed, so I will change my behavior only when using Prime Video.
