The 'One Color Exhibition' I Want to Be Your Umbrella
I want to be your umbrella
You might laugh and say
that it's a strange thing to say
with a sound like a bluebell swaying
Drip, drip, drip
What spills from the clouds
are tiny droplets
They are not crying
They are reaching out
as a gift from the clouds
To the tiny daisies
and to the little boy
wearing brand new rain boots
And then, someday
they will soak into the earth
Laughing as they roll along
the way those glossy cheeks peek out
is so endearing
While gently touching my profile
you slipped away, didn't you
It is a happy job, but
there are times when it is a little sad
you said, leaving those words behind
A single young leaf
heavy with water droplets
trembled slightly
How fresh and
how well-suited to the rain it is
Hookers Green
melts into many layers
I fell in love
To say they all look the same
is a lie
You, a droplet so
uniquely small and inconspicuous
I want to be your umbrella
So that you won't be swallowed up
by the many raindrops
and can remain just as you are

a Hookers Green that is friends with water
and creates many gradations
I am participating in
Asami Ishino's wonderful project.
How happy I would be
if I could paint with watercolors like this.
I admire it.
I was very drawn to the title
'The color of leaves after the rain'.
Because leaves after the rain
are truly beautiful.
Looking at the head of this
Hookers Green character, who is like a leaf or an umbrella,
I wrote a poem about the world
that came to mind.
Thank you, Ishino-san♪
I would love to paint all the colors someday♡
The way I found out about this project
was through this work
by Yamiyo no Karasu-san♪
My heart was already captured by this little one.
