■ Afterword

First of all, I would like to apologize for the long three-year period since my last post during which I was unable to post anything. It was three years of running away from everything, including the recurrence and worsening of a chronic illness, medical treatment, resigning from my job, and changing jobs... I deeply feel that this was all due to my own failure to manage my health. I am very sorry for that.
I am currently in remission and am living what I can call a "normal" daily life.
When I felt that my "normal" daily life had returned, the very first thing I thought I "must do!" was this project. And the people I contacted were Won and Yukari. Three years ago, they were the two who kindly replied "Sure, that's fine" to my clumsy explanation of "I'd like your cooperation for a manga adaptation..." Yes, the content of this work was actually supposed to have taken shape three years ago.
Also, this time, thanks to the warm support of our sponsors, I was able to release this work to the world.
To everyone who was involved in this work, thank you so, so much.

Now, with the spread of media and social media in recent years, it seems that information regarding LGBTQ issues has become easier to obtain. However, I feel that all of this information is short-term and fragmented, and there is nothing long-term or continuous. I started this project because I thought, "It is strange that I, as a lesbian, do not know of any lesbian couples who continue to walk through life together until they become grandmothers."
Regarding this project, I would like to convey the current situation of lesbian couples from as flat a perspective as possible. I try my best not to include political claims or messages such as "you should be like this" or "you should think like this." In fact, I have received DMs to the effect of, "I don't feel your intention to convey the plight of lesbian couples. I don't feel your determination to change the status quo." Certainly, discrimination and bullying are out of the question. However, I do not want to force feelings or say "you should think like this" or "you should be like this."
There was a major turning point in my life where I realized that "there are all kinds of people." I won't go into details about that, but I am among those "all kinds of people," and so are you. It is obvious, but anyone would find it painful to be hit, bad-mouthed, or ridiculed. It is sad.
You may come to dislike or distance yourself from someone after understanding that there are all kinds of people. That cannot be helped.
This work is aimed at "all kinds of people." My opinions are included within the work. You are free to think whatever you like after reading this. That is because I am just doing what I can.
I intend to continue this as long as I am able to move forward. Please look forward to the next story, whether it will be the current status of a couple who appeared in the manga in the past, or a new couple appearing...
