🧠 There are days when 'I have to do my best' is the hardest thing, right?
[Introduction]
Days when you have no motivation might not just be a 'motivation problem',
but perhaps a 'sign' from your mind or body.
Rather than forcing yourself to move,
noticing that sign is often more important.
⸻
[Part 1: Days when you can't honestly be happy for others' success]Even looking at social media, everyone's posts are too dazzling,
and I don't even feel like hitting 'like'.
I can celebrate when my heart is healthy,
but right now, even that is 'exhausting'.
It might be proof that my own emotional reserves are at zero.
⸻
[Part 2: Days when even 'kindness' feels burdensome]Don't you ever have days when even the words 'you don't have to try so hard' feel distant?
Even though it's meant to be kind,
I just don't have the capacity to receive it,
and I end up feeling self-loathing, thinking, 'I made them worry about me'.
⸻
[Part 3: Even so, I posted anyway]
Honestly, I didn't even have the energy to write. But I felt there was meaning in 'keeping it going'.
It doesn't matter if it doesn't go viral today.
It doesn't matter if it doesn't get read.
Even so, just by saying 'I put out one post today',
I wanted to give myself a small pat on the back.
⸻
[Conclusion]
On days when you have no motivation,'keeping it going' is the hardest thing.
But I feel that that one step is the most valuable one.
How do you all handle days like this?
I'd be happy if you could let me know in the comments.
