[SS] The Boy Who Loops [Image: Fan Fiction]

I turned around when someone called my name, Bonzo.
Saya is standing there, looking at me. On the campus of Hakuai University.
How many times have I seen this scene?

No one else seems to notice, but it appears we are repeating the same 'today'.
I counted up to the tenth time, but I got bored and stopped.
In fiction, it's a classic trope that people go crazy when they experience a time loop, but for me, it was surprisingly comfortable.
To find the best 'today,' I have tried various options. To tell the truth, there are patterns where my actions destroy the world. During one of the loops, I ended up destroying the world.
The world changes easily with just the most trivial of actions.

We part ways after exchanging the same words as always. As Saya walks toward the main gate, she slips and almost falls. 3, 2, 1...
See, just as I thought. She turns back, gives an awkward smile, and runs off.

I've tried many options, but the best course of action was to stay here for just five minutes. In three more minutes, Tomoya will come by and share the katsu sandwich he bought too much of at the shop. Right after that, Mio will run by as if chasing him. On her way, she will give me a chocolate.
It's a route to get lunch and a snack for free.
By the way, if I stay here for more than five minutes, I get dragged into a huge commotion involving the survival of Hakuai University. I'll talk about that if I feel like it.

I watch Mio run off after Tomoya, then start walking in the opposite direction. I stuff the katsu sandwich into my mouth.
I'm getting tired of these repeating days.
To tell the truth, I've known how to end this time loop for a long time.
During this loop, I've even polished my keyboard skills. It was also interesting to get a bird's-eye view of the relationships within 'Rainbow▽Icecream.' I wonder if I'll be able to keep a straight face starting tomorrow.

Today is 'November 23rd,' which I have repeated many times.
It's about time I went to meet tomorrow.

I hum 'Blue Sky' while thinking of Saya.

This is the key to ending the time loop.

Blue sky.
A sky so clear. Tomorrow's live performance will surely go well, too.
'Bonzo?'
When I turned around, Saya was there. I waved at her as she approached and
'See you tomorrow,'
I said with a smile.

The alarm clock rang, and I woke up.
I check the date. November 24th. The time loop has ended safely.

Still, why was Saya there during that last 'yesterday'?
In the days I repeated, Saya should have been in a different place...
Oh well. I'm tired of the time loop anyway, and there probably won't be a next time.
I stretched and opened the curtains.

'Yeah, it's a beautiful blue sky.'

It will go well, it'll be fine. I whispered that to myself.

Afterword

I ended up making it a sci-fi time loop story.

This is a piece of fan fiction born from the idea that Bonzo would probably remain calm even if he were looping over and over again.
Actually, he has had other strange experiences, and there's a backstory that (omitted)...
I apologize that this turned into a work with no connection to the main story and not a single performance scene... At the very least, I tried to make the date relevant to the main story. Perhaps it was the day before the live concert, and only Bonzo was living through the repeating days... No one knows the answer to that.
