Why do people who look mature choose vintage clothing that fits just right?
Many people have the image that vintage clothing should be worn a bit oversized.
Of course, that is one of the joys of vintage clothing, but to put it simply,if you want to look mature, a size that is closer to a perfect fit is less likely to result in a fashion mistake.
In my case, when I first started, I thought, "I want to bring out that vintage feel, and maybe a slightly larger size has more atmosphere."

That's why, at first, it's safer to use a size that looks put-together when you wear it as your standard.
What I look at is shoulder width, body width, and length.
Just comparing these three things to your own standard clothing makes it much easier to notice discrepancies.
Prioritize "ease of wearing" and "stability in appearance" before "vintage-ness."
Just by grasping this, vintage clothing becomes much easier to get into.
I think maturity comes from having a well-balanced overall look, not from wearing flashy clothes.
Once you can look at things this way, it becomes useful not only when you are dressing yourself, but also when you are thinking about "sizes that sell well" from a purchasing perspective.
