Office Relocation 2nd Anniversary Event Report
This is M-da.
On November 3, 2020, LeafWorks moved to our current new office building as our business expanded. Two years have passed since then—.
Here is a "quick report" on how we celebrated the 2nd anniversary of our new office relocation on November 4, 2022!
Snack bags containing winning tickets
We secretly prepared snack bags for everyone in the company, each containing original DECO chocolates featuring our official character "Konoha-chan" and an illustration of our office building, along with some baked goods.
We also prepared a total of 16 bags containing three types of "winning tickets"!

"Alright everyone, please go ahead and take one!"
During the lunch break, Kamo-chan from General Affairs walked around the 1F free space carrying a basket full of snack bags like a bento vendor (lol). Which ones had the winning tickets? Even the General Affairs team who packed the bags no longer knew...

What's inside? The opening ceremony.
"What's this? Snacks? Oh... it's a Konoha-chan Tirol chocolate!" "Wow! I didn't know you could make things like this!" "So cute!" Since it was a surprise project, everyone was very happy.

Now, what were the results...?

Finally, the "Grand Prize" winner appeared!
Although people came one after another to redeem their winning tickets, the "Grand Prize" winner didn't show up that day...
It sparked various speculations, such as "Maybe it's someone who was absent today?" or "Maybe they're too scared of the General Affairs Department to come and redeem it?" (lol).
...but, finally, the next day--.
It... It's here!!!

“Um... what do I get for the special prize?”
The lucky winner who came to the General Affairs Department looking a bit uneasy for some reason was
Gussan from the Operations Department.
The General Affairs team, who had been a little worried that the winning ticket might have been accidentally thrown away without being noticed, breathed a sigh of relief.
In reaction, we let out a slightly excessive celebratory cheer: “It’s here!!”, “Oh! Congratulations!!”

By the way, the special prize was a souvenir from Disneyland that the president bought separately from the company's share. Gussan was very happy with it too! Thank goodness...
To tell the truth, I, M-da, who planned this, had set the special prize as“The president's handwritten autograph board (must be kept for 10 years)”but...
“Hmph... so it ended up being something normally cute like this... This is what organizations are like... (inner voice).”
The commemorative video was also screened, and it ended successfully.
I screened a video themed around “smiles” in the 1F free space, which I made by relying heavily on others—requesting the video production from two web designers in the Production Department (it's a secret that I thought about doing it myself but had neither the skills nor the time, so I just handed over the materials and dumped it on them at the last minute☆), and asking Horino-san, the manager of the MA Department who has multiple talents, to compose the music.
It ended to great acclaim, and after receiving many warm words from everyone, M-da was in tears... Furthermore, the kindness of my colleagues who told me feedback that they knew would make me happy, such as “I heard this comment!”, really touched my heart...
Ugh... what a wonderful company this is...

Announcement★ Next year, we will carry it out on July 6th, our “Founding Anniversary”!
However, there was one thing that was subtly... no, very much on my mind.
“Why the relocation anniversary? If we’re going to celebrate, shouldn’t it be the founding anniversary...?”
We started it because “that’s how it was last year,” but I think... no, I definitely feel that the founding anniversary is more important...
Therefore, I vow to plan and propose a celebration for July 6th, the LeafWorks Founding Anniversary, from next year onwards!
I have already requested the production team to create a video, and they have gladly accepted☆
I want to put my heart into it, thinking that I must work harder behind the scenes to prepare—no, I want to make it an event that everyone can enjoy on the day, so I would like to start collecting ideas now.
Everyone in the company, please get involved, okay?!
