This time, I would like to share the "changes in the air" in our office in two parts, under the theme of "The air in the office has changed recently!".
This is the "Clean Air" edition!

Introduction of high-performance air purifiers.

It all started with General Manager Sakuda of the Business Promotion Department.

Our company has grown to about three times the number of people compared to three years ago. With the increase in staff, some members started to become concerned about the "air in the office."
It was General Manager Sakuda, who is admired for his warm personality even among our company's leadership who strongly believe in "valuing people," who took those voices from the department and requested the General Affairs Department to introduce high-performance air purifiers.

The General Affairs Department, having received the request, picked out candidate products. They examined everything from basic information such as size, specifications, performance, and price, to whether the introduction was feasible, and even scrutinized whether it should be "purchased or rented" if it was deemed feasible.

The General Affairs Department's portfolio is "Leaf Works," and it is a section directly under the President.The meticulousness of the President, who is also an engineer... *cough cough*! His thorough checks are quite strict, and thorough verification is standard, especially when introducing expensive items.

Oh, just to follow up, the President also places importance on "nurturing people", so I, M-da, recognize that as part of education, he is cultivating the "skill to consider and select better things that meet the purpose and budget."
(Yes, surely, probably, maybe...!)

As a result of the review, the product selected this time was the high-performance air purifier that we have been seeing in clinics and other places recently, "Airdog".

It adopts a special TPA filter that does not clog and can adsorb smaller particles than other companies' products, making it an excellent item that achieves both "cleanliness" and "low maintenance."

Apparently, it applies voltage to pollutants (viruses, bacteria, mold, pollen, etc.) and can adsorb and remove ultra-fine particles down to 0.0146㎛.
I, M-da, can't immediately visualize something smaller than a 0.1㎛ virus, but I do know that it sounds incredibly impressive, yes.

That said, it must be nervous in a new place, so let's leave it alone for a while until it can show its true potential...

...Hmm? There's some unfamiliar text...AQI...??

When I asked Otani-san from the Production Department nearby, "What do you think this means?", he Googled it in a second.

"AQI" stands for "Air Quality Index."
It measures the concentration of PM2.5, carbon monoxide, and other substances that cause air pollution, and quantifies the health risks associated with them.
It seems that if the number is low, the air is clean, and if it is high, it is polluted.

By the way, what is the AQI near the company? I was curious, so I looked it up...

It was "42." Since the office is "6," it means the air inside is considerably cleaner than the outside air.Airdog is amazing!!

Immediately, there were voices of joy saying "It has become very comfortable!". Even from members who hadn't felt anything particularly strange before, there were many happy exclamations realizing the change, such as "My throat feels good" and "I feel like my eyes are less tired".

Due to these remarkable results, an additional unit was brought in, and now two are hard at work in the office! It has quickly settled into the office and has become a reliable presence, earning praise from the team for its performance. It works hard every day to help maintain everyone's health.

A side note.

It is a complete coincidence, but...
Currently, another air purifier that arrived through a completely different process than the model mentioned above is also in operation.

This is a high-performance air purifier called the “Biomicron” from Andes Electric Co., Ltd., which was sent to us after our sales team member was recommended to try it out by a company they were involved with in their previous job.

Just how clean are they planning to make the air?
