What does it mean to say, 'You have value just by being alive'?
'You have value just by being alive.'
Have you ever felt a bit uneasy when you heard those words?
'Even if you say that, in reality, don't I have to
do something to survive?'
'I have to earn money, and I have to cook to eat.'
'Saying "you don't have to do anything" just sounds like escapism.'
That might be because there is an image that "just being alive" equals "doing nothing."
That is why it is natural to feel that way.
And perhaps those who have faced society earnestly are the ones who feel that way.
I had become unable to accept myself except under certain conditions
As we grow into adults, we
unconsciously impose "conditional values" upon ourselves.
'If I can't do my job, I'm not a full-fledged person.'
'If I don't produce results, it's meaningless.'
'If I'm not useful to someone, I have no value in living.'
Before we know it, rather than our own existence itself,
we start measuring ourselves only by "what we can do" and our "achievements."
It does not mean "you don't have to do anything"
That is why,
even when told "you have value just by being alive,"
people misunderstand it to mean "you don't have to do anything."
But what I want to convey here is,
not an indulgence that says "it's okay to do nothing," but the truth that "your very existence is already value itself"
.
When people accept their self-worth, they naturally "start moving"
Actually, strangely enough,
when you can truly feel from the bottom of your heart that "I have value just by existing"—
people naturally want to do something.
That is not action born from obligation or pressure,
but action born from the natural desire for joy, saying, **"I want to do this because it excites my heart."**
・I want to make someone happy
・I want to share this moving experience
・I want to make use of my strengths
・I want to try doing this
・I want to do it because it looks fun
By honestly following those "impulses welling up from within,"
your original energy will naturally start to move.
"Self-worth" and "abundance" are connected
And strangely enough,
when you are acting as your "true self" in that way,
for some reason, money, encounters, and everything you need will start to follow.
That is not because you are forcing yourself to "try hard to gain something,"
but because a way of life that utilizes your true self is also delivering value to those around you.
Accepting your self-worth
will, in the end, lead to a way of life that is fulfilling both financially and mentally.
In conclusion
That is why, please do not rush.
If the idea that 'you have value just by being alive' doesn't quite resonate with you...
then that might just be the 'gateway to a deeper understanding of yourself'.
First of all,
'maybe it's okay to be just as I am, even if only a little bit'
please try starting from a place like that.
