"So, how much can I actually save?"—Answering all the "final questions" about moving to Nepal.
Previously, I answered questions about the "anxieties" of moving to Nepal, such as language, safety, work, and loneliness.
Since then, I've been receiving more in-depth questions.
"My mind is made up. But I still don't really understand the ",{money, visa, and contract side of things."
So today, I will answer the realistic, practical questions that everyone asks "last" before making their decision.
I'm Toki, the representative of Last Partner! We are looking for people who want to live and work in Nepal, so please feel free to contact us if you are interested! Of course, Last Partner will cover the costs necessary for living and housing!
💰 Q1. Is it really "zero out-of-pocket" and can I actually save money?
A. Yes. Since housing and living expenses are covered by the company, almost your entire salary remains in your pocket.
Because the company covers rent and utilities, you won't experience the situation common in Japan where "even if you earn money, it disappears into rent and food costs." The cost of living in Nepal is low, and even if you eat out most of the time, food expenses are only about 10,000 to 20,000 yen per month.
It is not rare for our staff to say, "I've saved more money than when I was working in Japan." The specific salary amount varies depending on the situation, so I will explain it to you individually.
🛂 Q2. Do I have to handle the visa and residency procedures myself?
A. No. The company will support you with the procedures related to working.
It is natural to be anxious about whether you can work legally overseas. Please rest assured. Last Partner will guide and support you through the necessary procedures before and after your travel.
You don't need to struggle with difficult documents on your own. Please feel free to contact us first, and we will carefully explain the process to you.
📅 Q3. How long do I need to stay at a minimum? Can I go home in the middle?
A. The duration and conditions are discussed individually. It's not "Nepal for life."
Some people worry that "once I go, I won't be able to come back," but that is not the case. The length of stay and contract conditions can be discussed according to your situation (student, working professional, desired way of working).
We also welcome consultations from those who say, "I want to try it for a few months first." You don't have to commit your entire life to it.
🎓 Q4. Is it okay if I have no experience or considering my age? Do I need special skills?
A. All you need is to be able to do PC work in Japanese. That's all.
You don't need special qualifications or a flashy work history. The business sense and Japanese language skills you naturally acquired in Japan will be assets you can use directly on-site.
We welcome a wide range of people, from university students to working professionals. If you are wondering, "Can I really do this?", please come and talk to us.
📶 Q5. What about Wi-Fi and internet access? Can I communicate with Japan?
A. Both the office and housing are equipped with Wi-Fi. Online work is a daily routine.
Since the work involves BPO services for Japanese companies, a stable internet environment is a given. You can use video conferencing and chat just as you would normally.
You can also live your life without any issues, such as talking to your family and friends in Japan online on your days off or watching videos.
👨👩👧 Q6. What if my parents or family oppose it?
A. Showing them the specific "conditions" is the best way to persuade them.
Most opposition comes from vague anxieties like "it seems dangerous" or "I'm worried about money." Therefore, showing them the specific conditions of zero cost, housing included, salary provided, and support available will significantly change their impression.
If you wish, we can also provide information that you can share with your family. Please don't carry the burden alone; consult with us.
🔄 Q7. What if it doesn't work out for me?
A. You won't know if it's a good fit until you try. That's why we start with a consultation.
There is no 100% guarantee for any challenge. However, this time, we have prepared conditions that remove risks—such as costs, housing, and work—as much as possible.conditions that remove risks as much as possible
Rather than staying stuck thinking, "What if it doesn't work out?", you will gain much more by "trying to see if it's a good fit."
In conclusion
If your anxiety has turned into "specific questions," that is proof that your heart has already started to move.
All that remains is the final push. Please ask us anything you are curious about. We welcome you to just come and listen.
