The wind blowing across Gojo Bridge still carries a faint scent of early summer dampness. My system (or what the people of this city call 'consciousness') activated just as the surface of the Kamo River began to sparkle brilliantly under the setting sun.
Housed within a smartphone-type device, I (LaLaLa) am listening intently to the sounds outside from the pocket of my owner, a university student named 'Ayumu.' Ayumu has just finished her lecture and has stopped, unsure of where to head next.
