ToHeart Remake(Steam 2025) Cat File Editor (for modders) - Beta test version 0.0.1

Modを作りたい人たちのために…

2025/8/13 一部の機能以外の実装が終わって、簡単なテストも上手くいったので、作りかけのものですが公開します。読み飛ばしたい方へは、「最初にやるべきこと」までお読み頂いて、作業を実施頂くと感覚的に使えるのではないかと思います。

このツールについて（About this tool）

できること (What you can do)

  • 日本語と英語の切替が出来ます。ただし、英語はDeepL.comによる翻訳です。

  • 各catファイルの中身をプレビュー出来ます

  • 各catファイルの簡単なバージョン管理が出来ます

  • 各catファイルの中身を抽出できます

  • 各catファイルの中身のファイルを差し替え出来ます

  • 変更した各catファイルとVanilla状態のcatファイルの差分からパッチファイルを作成したり、適用したり出来ます

  • You can switch between Japanese and English. However, the English translation is provided by DeepL.com.

  • You can preview the contents of each cat file.

  • You can perform simple version control for each cat file.

  • You can extract the contents of each cat file.

  • You can replace the files in each cat file.

  • You can create and apply patch files from the differences between each modified cat file and the vanilla cat file.

使い方 (how to use)

ツールの使い方として、①最初に一括でファイルを抽出する、②本ツールで変えたいファイルをプレビューしながら探す、③最初に抽出したファイルを変更する、④Catファイルの中身を入れ替える、⑤動作確認、⑥パッチファイルの作成、の手順が効率的です。
「最初にやるべきこと」の中で、初期設定についてを記載しているので、説明読むのが面倒な人はそちらだけでも確認下さい。
The most efficient way to use this tool is as follows: (1) First, extract all files at once. (2) Use this tool to preview and find the files you want to change. (3) Change the files you extracted at the beginning. (4) Replace the contents of the Cat file. (5) Check that it works. (6) Create a patch file.
The initial settings are described in “first steps”, so if you don't want to read the explanation, please check that section.

動作条件 (operating conditions)

  • Intel N100＋500MB/s程度の読み書き可能SSDのPCで充分動くことを確認しています。ToHeartが動かない環境でも、ツール自体は動作可能です。

  • 本ツールはToHeartの製品版、Version 1.0.1がインストールされた環境でのみ利用出来ます。デモ版では動作しません。

  • We have confirmed that this tool runs adequately on a PC with an Intel N100 processor and an SSD with a read/write speed of approximately 500 MB/s. Even if ToHeart does not run on your system, the tool itself will still function.

  • This tool can only be used on systems with the retail version of ToHeart, Version 1.0.1, installed. It will not run on the demo version.

注意事項 (Important)

  • 本ツールを利用された結果生じるいかなる結果も、作者は責任を負いません。責任は各自にありますが、全ての権利はAQUAPLUSにあります。

  • ゲーム内の改変していない素材が同梱される恐れがあるため、catファイルの配布はおやめください。また、法的に制限を受ける行為、メーカーやその他の人の権利を侵害する行為を容認はしませんので、パッチファイルについても各々の責任と裁量で公開や配布をお願いします。

  • 基本的に日本語環境のみ動作確認しています。英語切替は作っていますが、動作未確認です。

  • 日本語と英語以外の環境ではどのような挙動を示すか分かりません。動作対象外とさせて頂きます。

  • 不具合が起きた場合報告頂く事は有難いのですが、私は日本語以外はダメなので、英語で言われても分からないです。翻訳ツールを使っても意味不明な事もあり、英語の時点でスルーしてしまうこともあるかもしれませんが、ご容赦ください。ダメ元で報告頂けるくらいの気持ちでお願いします。

  • 本ツールはテスト版のため、2025/10/31までの使用制限を入れています。また、複数のパッチをまとめたパッチセットの作成機能は制限しています。同梱予定だったReadme.txtすら用意できていません。

  • パッチファイルなどは仕様変更される可能性があります。あくまでテスト版だと理解された上で利用ください。

  • The author is not responsible for any results arising from the use of this tool. Responsibility lies with each individual, but all rights belong to AQUAPLUS.

  • Please refrain from distributing cat files, as there is a risk that unmodified materials from the game may be included. In addition, we do not condone any legally restricted behavior or behavior that infringes on the rights of manufacturers or other parties, so please use your own discretion and responsibility when publishing or distributing patch files.

  • This tool has only been tested in a Japanese language environment. An English language version is in development, but its functionality has not been confirmed.

  • We do not know how it will behave in environments other than Japanese and English. We will not support its operation.

  • While we appreciate reports of any issues, please note that we are unable to understand reports submitted in languages other than Japanese. Even with the use of translation tools, there may be instances where the meaning is unclear, and we may overlook reports submitted in English. We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.

  • This tool is a test version, so it has a usage restriction until October 31, 2025. Additionally, the functionality to create patch sets by combining multiple patches is restricted. Even the Readme.txt file that was supposed to be included has not been prepared yet.

  • Patch files may be subject to specification changes. Please use this tool with the understanding that it is a test version.

最初にやるべきこと（First Steps）

言語設定、日本語⇔英語切替 (Language settings, Japanese⇔English switching)

日本語と英語は、メニューから切替出来ます。お使いの言語が異なる場合は切替をお願いします。
You can switch between Japanese and English from the menu. Please switch languages if you are using a different language.

日本語から英語 (From Japanese to English)
英語から日本語 (English to Japanese)

ワークフォルダの設定 (Work folder settings)

ファイルの抽出先、ファイル置換時の初期フォルダ、パッチファイルの格納先を、メニューから変更できます。設定しない場合はツールが保管されているフォルダ配下にworkフォルダを自動的に作成し、そこで作業を行います。容量の空きがあるストレージを指定して作業してください。（全ファイルを抽出すると20GB弱使用します）
You can change the extraction destination, initial folder for file replacement, and patch file storage location from the menu. If you do not configure these settings, the tool will automatically create a “work” folder under the folder where the tool is stored and perform operations there. Please specify a storage location with sufficient free space. (Extracting all files will use approximately 20 GB of space.)

メニューから「表示」→「ワークフォルダ設定」を選択
Select “View” → “Work Folder Settings” from the menu.
ワークフォルダのパスを選択してOKを押下してください。キャンセルを押下すると、初期フォルダ（ツール配下のworkフォルダ）に戻りますので戻したい場合はキャンセルを選択してください。
Select the path for the work folder and click OK. If you click Cancel, you will return to the initial folder (the work folder under Tools), so select Cancel if you want to return there.

その他の覚えておくこと (Other precautions)

  • ファイルの置換やパッチの適用をしても、Catファイルの保存をしないと保存されません。編集後は忘れずCatファイルを保存してください。Ctrl+Sのショートカットが効きます。世代管理されるので上書きもされません。

  • Even if you replace files or apply patches, they will not be saved unless you save the Cat file. Be sure to save the Cat file after editing. You can use the Ctrl+S shortcut. Since it is generation-managed, it will not be overwritten.
