《Notice of TV Appearance》 "Kyoto Roman: Eternal Stories" A Healing Journey Walking the Ohara-me Path
I have been given the opportunity to share the healing of Ohara on a journey for "Kyoto Roman".

I have been given the opportunity to appear on television through a wonderful connection.
I joined them in my beloved Ohara, walking the Ohara-me path from Jakkoin Temple to Sanzen-in Temple.

Connections happen suddenly—it all started with a single phone call
It began with a phone call saying, "This is so-and-so from KBS Kyoto."
It seems the program director found me when they were looking for someone associated with healing.
They had carefully researched my background and my work to date.
I am simply grateful for the connection that brought together the program's theme of "Healing Ohara" and my own passion for Kyoto healing journeys.
※ Regarding the spelling of "iyashi" (healing)
On television, it is written as "癒やし"
In our work, we write it as "癒し"
as we express it.
On the day of filming, with the breeze of Ohara
The day of filming was rainy then cloudy; it was pouring in the morning, but that also suited the atmosphere of Ohara, and the greenery shone after the rain stopped.
Though I was nervous, I was encouraged by the interactions with the warm staff, and I was able to finish the recording safely.
While traveling the Ohara-me path from Jakkoin to Sanzen-in, I could not help but feel the power of connections.
This is because I had previously worked at Jakkoin for a short time, and I was able to rejoice in a reunion through an interaction on the program with someone who had helped me back then.
Another thing is that during the COVID-19 pandemic, when there were few opportunities to hear dharma talks, I asked Sanzen-in to hold one, and they gave me their first talk after the pandemic, for which I was very grateful.
I was moved to be able to hear a talk from a monk again at that same Sanzen-in.
I truly realized once again that the dots are connected.

A healing time re-evaluated through the program
What I felt again through this broadcast is that
"A Healing Journey Walking the Ohara-me Path" is something that can never be described in a single word.
The lives of the people living in the region, the way they protect and pass down their customs,
the temple staff who prepared and waited for us, the shop staff who cooperated with the filming,
and the production staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
Along with the natural scenery, I felt that all of these things layered together
are what make it take shape for the first time.
I believe that if even one of these had been missing, this program would not have been born.
Creating something or guiding a journey is not just about material things or scenery;
it is the sum total of people's hearts, thoughts, and the effort and kindness exerted in places we do not notice,
and I was able to learn that again this time.
As a guide who accompanies you on healing journeys,
I hope to continue to polish the sensitivity to perceive these "invisible things."
I would be happy if you could watch it.
