Being there, more than words
Sometimes, people seek "warmth" rather than words.
Someone who is hurt and lets out a complaint is not looking for advice.
They just want someone there who will quietly nod and say, "Yes, I understand."
Warmth over correctness.
The comfort of silent presence over encouragement.
Being there for someone isn't about how well you speak.
It is simply about being there, gently.
If someone opens up to you, I want to be by their side with a soft gaze, not with the right answer.
That alone is enough to make their heart feel a little lighter.
