How to Draw a Map Without a Clock
On the twilight window,
a small star drawn with my finger
Trying to catch up to someone,
the me of that day was in such a hurry
Even familiar scenery
looked blurred,
with only my heart left behind
If this life
only had the rule
of running fast,
how boring that would be
On the sidewalk after the rain,
my shadow is reflected
It softly tells me
that it's okay not to rush
There is no need to compare yourself to anyone
Even if you are slower than anyone else,
or even if you stop
We are each
drawing
our own different maps
The paths I took the long way around,
the color of the sky I looked up at,
it's all my story
So now,
I won't worry about the hands of the clock
Slowly,
on my own two feet,
I will walk this path
Because that,
is my greatest treasure
May abundance come to those
who read this article
