Let's write a diary "with" AI: You don't need a diary app anymore
Writing a diary with AI might seem like a high hurdle, but
you can just start a thread and record your daily life.
For example:
Wake-up time
People you met
What you ate
Sleep duration,
or even a 3-line diary as advocated by Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Professor at Juntendo University School of Medicine) would suffice.
Line 1: What you disliked or reflected on today
Write down negative events that stayed on your mind, such as work mistakes, relationship worries, or a meal that didn't taste good.
This leads to stress relief.
Line 2: What you were happy about or what went well today
Even trivial things are fine, such as being praised, listening to your favorite music, or eating something delicious.
This boosts self-affirmation and confidence.
Line 3: Tomorrow's goals or things you are interested in
Write about things that connect to the future, such as studying for a certification, things you want, or actors you are interested in.
The important thing with an AI diary is to ask at the end, "What do you think of this day? Are there any points for improvement?"
Whether or not you agree with the AI's response is up to you, but
try asking the same question the next day, or "How does it compare to yesterday?"
If it becomes routine after two or three days, you can turn it into a template, or
"This is ideal, so please make it a template."
You can also ask, "If I were to study on this schedule, when would be a good time?"
I recommend Gemini, which is easy to link with Google.
If you use Google's Gemini, once you have standardized it,
since it is linked to Google services by default,
it will normally transfer it if you say "Copy this schedule to my calendar" or "Copy this to [Google service]."
You don't need a diary app anymore.
