CPC of only 14 yen. The secret to planning products that sell without spending money on advertising
[This article is recommended for the following people]
・Product sales have hit a plateau and you are struggling with where to start.
・You want to develop a new product but don't know what will sell right now.
・You have made a product, but have nowhere to sell it...
・You are running ads, but they are not leading to purchases.
・You are running Instagram ads, but the CPC (cost per click) is over 150 yen.
If even one of these applies to you, I would love for you to read this.
It might just be the silver bullet you need...
Hello, I am Hayato, the representative of Kusunoki Co., Ltd.
I have launched and planned multiple new product brands to date.
As I introduced in this article, I have now started an apparel business.
Some of you using products might say, "I'm running Instagram ads!"
However, for those who don't really have much knowledge of ad operations, aren't there some people who are just running ads for the sake of it?
The reason ads aren't increasing sales is because
the resolution of your target is low
I think there are also people who feel that customers aren't coming through ads and sales aren't increasing.
That might be because your image of the customer isn't clear.
For the apparel brand I am currently working on, I couldn't spend that much on the advertising budget, so I only spent a very low budget.
However, even so, I gathered over 150 leads from scratch and generated over 2.5 million in sales.
The cost per click is in the 10 yen range.
I am achieving numbers that are impossible with Meta ads.
I analyze that this is because I narrowed down the creative words, the media, and the target audience significantly, and carefully thought through when, in what situation, and what benefits I should provide.
In the first place, there is no such thing as a "selling ad."
I often receive consultations saying, "I thought it would sell if I just ran ads..." but to be honest, there is no such thing as an ad that sells.
All that exists is the combination of "selling product x correct target x precise expression."
Ads are just like fuel.
If the product itself isn't on fire, no matter how much fuel you pour on it, it won't burn.
The reason we achieved the absurd figure of 14 yen CPC wasn't because we managed it with "ad operation skills."
We designed the product itself so that it would fit the ads.
This is the beginning of everything.
Before running ads, have you designed the product on the premise that it will sell through ads?
After making a product, are you thinking, "Now let's sell it with ads"?
But in reality, many products that sell are made from the start to be sold through ads.
• When "who," "when," and "with what feeling" will they want it when they see it?
• In how many seconds can they realize "this is a product for me"?
• Is there a story that makes them think "it's a loss if I miss this"?
In the projects I've been involved in, before running ads, I plan on the premise of "a design that sells for under 20 yen per click on SNS ads."
This "reverse-calculation thinking" is the core of creating products that sell.
What is needed for a winning plan is not sense, but a "shift in perspective"
"Even so, I don't have the sense for it..."
I often hear that voice too.
But what I do is not sense, but just a shift in perspective.
Are you standing from the "purchaser's perspective" of "how does it look from the customer's point of view?"
• Are you just listing things you want to convey?
• Is the flow of problem statement -> solution -> benefit natural?
• Does the value get conveyed in a few seconds through photos or appearance?
This "structure of thinking" is what produced the result of 14 yen CPC.
It's not that "the product doesn't sell," but that "a structure for selling hasn't been created"
In other words, whether it sells or not is determined not by the content of the product itself, but by whether there is a structure for it to sell.
• Is there a "piercing phrase" that anyone can understand?
• Are there images or videos that intuitively convey the benefits?
• Does the timing of wanting it match the ad?
• Is there a reason to make them think "I want it right now"?
Whether you can "design" these.
All I do is create that "structure" from the beginning.
So, how do you actually create them?
I am planning to create an opportunity to introduce, with actual examples, how I design products that sell, including:
• The starting point for product planning
• How to find "keywords that sell"
• Structural thinking when creating creatives
• Creative techniques to lower CPC
If you want to "increase sales without spending money on advertising" or "rethink how to communicate the value of your products or services," please look forward to it.
