Production Diary 1: I've started making an AI anime, 'Jewel Fairy Tale'!
Good evening, this is Kurono🐱
I've wanted to make an original AI anime for a long time and have been through a lot of trial and error, but recently I've started to see a glimmer of hope that it might actually be possible...!
If I wait until everything is finished to release it, I'll just feel empty thinking, 'When will this ever be done...?'
So for now, I think I'll just upload bits and pieces of what I've finished as shorts✨
◆ Tools Used
Illustration creation: Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana
Animation: Vidu AI
AI Voice: ElevenLabs
Video Editing: Filmora
◆ Prologue to 'Jewel Fairy Tale': The Black Cat That Became a Star
— A black-haired woman with the wings of a black butterfly Lion.
This is an anime that begins with her narration.
This world is distorted.
In this world where we have been erased, the world continues to turn correctly even while being distorted.
No one understands...
That fairy tales do not tell the truth...
The boy who appears briefly at the end, Io, is the protagonist of 'Jewel Fairy Tale,' and this is a scene from his childhood.
As the title 'Jewel Fairy Tale' suggests, there are specific jewels (power stones) that serve as themes, and I'd like to write about those character introductions on Note as well😊
◆ Production Musings
I'm still not quite satisfied with the 'fluttering' expression of the butterfly, so I want to do something about it before the final version.
Actually, I've layered a little bit of animation created with Sora2 Pro just for this part.
Vidu is very easy to use, but it doesn't handle fast movements very well...
I tried tweaking the prompts while consulting with ChatGPT, but the butterfly is just too slow no matter what...
I feel like Sora is better at handling things that require momentum.
I'm using Nano Banana Pro on LeonardoAI, but it's so fun that I've been 'gacha-ing' too much, and my credits are disappearing rapidly...😇
I think I'm going to spend a lot of money this month.
I want to spend even more...
I'm debating whether to add more credits to LeonardoAI, which I've gotten used to, or to pay for another service...
Nano Banana Pro gets me much closer to the illustrations where I think,
'Yes! This is what I wanted!!'
, so I can't go back to the way it was before...
I'm making progress on the rest, so I'll upload more soon!
