Tokyo Outing Report @ Chogakusei Nationwide Hall One-Man Tour: Autumn of Sound Desire, Tokyo
Yesterday, I went to the concert of my second daughter's favorite artist, Chogakusei.
I woke up at 5:00 AM, cleaned the frog cage, checked our belongings, woke up my second daughter, and we set off.
First, we took a train to Nagaoka to catch the Shinkansen from the nearest station.
It was my second daughter's first time on a Shinkansen.
We ate bread on the Shinkansen and got off at Omiya.
We transferred to the Keihin-Tohoku Line, aiming for Minami-Urawa.
At Minami-Urawa, we transferred to the Musashino Line to Nishi-Kokubunji.
From Nishi-Kokubunji, we took the Chuo Line and arrived at Hachioji.
We caught a Shinkansen in the 7:00 AM hour and arrived before 11:00 AM.
When we went to scout the venue, we found people waiting for merchandise sales.
Since there was still time before it started, we decided to go get some lunch first.
At my second daughter's request, we had omelet rice at a restaurant called 'Tamago to Watashi'.

It was a basic omelet rice, but it was very delicious.
Once our stomachs were full, we returned to the venue and decided to wait for the merchandise sales.
The line was longer than before.
Merchandise sales started at 1:00 PM.
My second daughter bought five random items and an acrylic stand.
Around 2:00 PM, we left the venue again and decided to walk around the area.
We bought souvenirs, looked around the station building, and had some tea because we were tired of walking, so we decided to head back as the opening time approached.
The area in front of the venue was full of concert-goers.
The age group seemed to be mostly around their 20s.
There were also a few parent-child pairs like us.
Everyone was dressed beautifully, and my second daughter said she wanted to dress up next time too.
While waiting in line, my second daughter seemed to get nervous, saying she was so excited she felt like she might collapse.
When we entered the venue and sat in our seats, I was surprised at how close we were to the stage.
We waited for the show to start with pounding hearts.
At 5:30 PM, the concert began.
There was a countdown on the stage accompanied by a live band performance.
Chogakusei, whom we had been waiting for, appeared.
My second daughter waved her penlight and shouted with all her might.
We had the best time, soaking in the live atmosphere, the power of the live performance, Chogakusei's singing ability, and the sense of unity in the venue with our whole bodies.
The MC and special segments were also funny, and we laughed a lot.
I think my second daughter truly enjoyed her first concert from the bottom of her heart.
The fun time came to an end, and although I wanted to soak in the afterglow, we had to catch the last Shinkansen, so we dashed out of the venue the moment it ended.
We walked quickly to the station and managed to catch a train two earlier than planned.
We took the reverse route back to Omiya, bought rice balls for dinner, and ate them on the Shinkansen.
My second daughter was smiling the whole way home on the train, remembering the concert.
Seeing someone she had only ever watched on a smartphone screen singing, dancing, and talking right in front of her felt like a miracle, and I am sure it became a special memory for her.
We managed to get home before the date changed.
I felt that Hachioji was surprisingly close.
It was a fulfilling day, and I enjoyed the train trip after such a long time.
Chogakusei's live singing was incredibly powerful, and I have completely fallen for his worldview.
His singing voice is still ringing in my ears.
I will continue to support him together with my second daughter.
If he ever holds a concert at Budokan, we will definitely go.
Next month, my second daughter and I will go to the Chogakusei collaboration cafe at Sweets Paradise in Omiya.
We will enjoy the five-hour one-way train trip on local lines.
Well then, that's all for today.
Thank you for always reading.
