The Fourth Day of Winter Break and a Look Back at This Year (July–December)
I woke up at 9:00 this morning.
I'm completely in year-end mode now.
While it wasn't exactly a deep clean, I did clean the toilet and the vanity, and washed the kitchen and entryway mats.
My second daughter started working on her assignments in the evening.
I hope she finishes them before the year is out...
Now, I'd like to continue my look back at this year today.
July
I was sad because my tree frog, Yori-chan, passed away suddenly.
As soon as summer vacation started, it was also a month where I was out and about in the heat, including attending open campus events for two days in a row.
August
Above all, my biggest memory was going to see Rinu-kun's concert with my eldest daughter.
It was my first time at a concert in such a large venue, so I was really moved.
It was a very fulfilling summer vacation.
September
Following August, I went to see Chogakusei's concert this month.
It was so much fun that the two hours flew by.
Taking trains I'd never been on and visiting new places also became great memories.
October
I went to a collaboration cafe for Chogakusei with my second daughter.
It was a five-hour journey on local trains to Omiya, but it was a lot of fun.
I'd like to go to another collaboration cafe sometime.
November
It was just last month, but it was tough because my children caught the flu one after another at the end of the month.
For me personally, it was also a month where I was able to spend time in a relaxed and leisurely way.
December
It was just recently, but I accompanied my second daughter on another 'oshi-katsu' (fan activity) outing.
My second daughter said she felt like her soul was taken away when she saw Chogakusei right in front of her.
She said Chogakusei was so radiant, beautiful, and ethereal that he didn't seem like someone from this world.
I'm sure he must be a fairy or something.
I feel like the second half of the year was mostly spent on fan activities.
I think I'll continue to enjoy these fan activities with my daughters next year as well.
As for myself, I hope to take care of my health, avoid building up stress, and continue living at my own pace.
That's all for today.
Thank you for always reading.
