I went to see the reading play 'It's Not About Whether You Want To or Not 2025'
This is my first time at Sakura Hall!
I couldn't hide my surprise at how few
restrooms there were in the entire building,
this is kumako., Yasuko Kumano!

After making it through the crowds, I finally arrived at
Sakura Hall.
Believe it or not, when I arrived at the hall,
it was less than 10 minutes before the show started...
I was so panicked!
My husband
found this play and bought the tickets for us, and our seats were right in the back, dead center,
with the control booth right behind us.
Personally, it was a prime seat lol
Ever since I got used to
being surrounded by equipment every day,
I can't help but be curious about the technical side of things.
Being able to enjoy not just the acting and direction,
but also the setup, is definitely an influence from joining a theater troupe.
Since the seats allowed me to see everything, including the audience,
I was able to view it from various perspectives.
Like, 'This way of directing was interesting,' or
for this actor, wouldn't this choice of words have been
better? Or, 'I laughed at this scene,' and so on.
(`・ノω・) Whispering: 'Even pros at the top of their game stumble over their lines quite a bit, huh...'
I thought... lol
While talking about various impressions with my husband,
Well, no matter how famous someone is,
they're only human lol
And so, I was able to learn that the myth that 'true pros never stumble' is
just that—a 'myth' lol
But, of course,
naturally, we always aim to not stumble at all!!

My husband, who is always looking for shows for us,
asked, 'What should we go see next?'
Plays, 2.5D, reading plays, musicals—
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of productions
my husband gets hooked on lol
Since there are quite a few shows I want to see
around the time my own performance schedule is still undecided,
I'll buy some tickets
as soon as things are settled♪
After all, theater is so interesting♡
Yasuko Kumano♡
