The speed at which new generative AI models are being released is so fast that my brain is on the verge of crashing.

OpenAI, Anthropic.
Every time these two companies release new models one after another, I get new stimulation.

That in itself is definitely interesting.

However, when they are updated in such a short period, honestly, I don't know when I should use them.

Just the other day, after much deliberation, I decided, 'Okay, I'll use it,' and just as I paid for Claude, information started circulating like 'Claude Code might only be for Max in the future,' and I was like, 'Wait a minute' (laughs).

I just want to feel like I made the right choice for at least a week.

While I was thinking that, OpenAI released ChatGPT 5.5 a few days later.

I just can't keep up with the processing anymore.
This is no longer information gathering; it's closer to the feeling of being beaten by information.

As a result, I've started watching anime (laughs).

I think this is a state where 'the number of choices has increased so much that, conversely, I can't choose anything.'

It used to be simple.

Which tool to use.
That was all I had to think about.

But now, which model, at what timing,
and for what purpose should I use it?

Moreover, it's updated every few days.
If I take my eyes off it for a second, a new model is out, and yesterday's optimal solution is different today.

And what am I doing?
While I'm saying, 'Let's wait and see for a bit,' the next one comes along.

As a result,a professional at 'wait and see'is born (laughs).

However, I realized one thing here.
It's impossible to keep up with all of this.

The amount of information and the speed have already easily exceeded human processing capacity. So, recently, I stopped trying to understand everything.

What I'm doing instead is just 'tentatively deciding what to use now for each purpose.'

・This for site improvement
・This for analysis
・This for writing

I'll just decide for now. Because it will change again anyway.

But it's strange; when I do this, it becomes much easier all at once. The flood of information just becomes background noise.

Of course, I get curious every time a new model comes out, and I have the urge to try them all.

But as long as I keep doing that, I'll always just be a "person who tries things." What I really want to do is build up my own work and my own career.

If that's the case, it's better to stick with certain tools and move forward rather than being pushed around by them.

The evolution of AI will only accelerate from here, and I'm sure that not only the good aspects but also the concerning parts will definitely increase.

Honestly, behind the convenience, there will surely be more moments where the risks stand out.

But that is precisely why, right now, those who use it properly are stronger than those who chase after everything.

……Although, saying that, if a new model comes out tomorrow, I'll probably be like, "Wait, hold on a second" (laughs).
