A Cherry Blossom Carpet in the Blink of an Eye
The fierce wind and rain, perfectly described as a 'spring storm,' created a carpet of cherry blossoms in an instant.
I would like to share a few photos from the many I took between the evening when the rain stopped and the following morning.

The sky after the rain is dyed in orange.

The orange of the sunset and the pink of the cherry blossoms are beautiful.

Just as I thought, a 'hana-ikada' (flower raft) has formed.

The light-up is also beginning.

A carpet of cherry blossoms is spread across the cherry blossom path.

The vermilion of the azaleas adds to the stunning contrast.

The light-up is green.

Illuminated by the setting sun, the cherry blossoms are glowing orange.

The illuminated cherry blossoms reflected on the lake surface are magnificent.

Since it is just after the rain, there are only a few people around.

The petals are so beautifully spread out that I hesitate to step on them.

The next morning, the sun began to rise.

It is a fantastical sight.

They look like they are blooming comfortably, bathed in the morning sun.

You can peek at the cherry blossom carpet path through a small window of cherry blossoms.

I am waving my hand, with my back illuminated by the morning sun.
Watching them like this,
I feel that cherry blossoms are most energetic when they are eighty percent in bloom,
they feel relieved when they reach full bloom,
and as they begin to scatter, the falling petals seem to be waving their little hands, saying 'Goodbye, see you again.'
'Thank you for entertaining me again this year.'
Thank you for viewing these photos.
I would be happy if you could like, follow, or leave a tip.
I look forward to your continued support.
