Which anti-itch medicine is the most effective?
As the old saying goes, "The heat and cold last until the equinox," so it seems the intense heat will finally subside after the Autumnal Equinox.
However, it is not just humans who are feeling the effects of summer fatigue.
It seems that extreme heat is not good for mosquitoes either, so they are starting to revive and get active again from here on out, meaning we cannot let our guard down.
I light mosquito coils and spray insect repellent, but they still find a gap and bite me.
I sigh, "Ah, I got bitten again," and give up, looking for anti-itch medicine. Since I am running low, I decided to look into which anti-itch medicine is the most effective.
Since there are various causes for itching, I will list representative recommendations divided into four categories: insect bites, eczema/rashes, allergies, and the delicate zone.
<For insect bites>
First, which anti-itch medicine is effective for bites from mosquitoes and other insects?
For relatively mild itching, a cooling type containing antihistamines, such as "Liquid Muhi S (300-400 yen)," is recommended.

When the itching is severe and troublesome, it seems that "Muhi Alpha EX (700-1000 yen)" is better, even though it is the same brand.
There is also an easy-to-apply liquid type called "Liquid Muhi Alpha EX (700-1000 yen)."

I liked "Kinkan," which is said to be effective for stiff shoulders as well, because it is reasonably priced, but unfortunately, it was not on the list.

<For eczema and rashes>
In the case of itching caused by eczema or rashes, it seems that products containing topical steroids are good because they have the power to suppress inflammation.
For example, there is "Fullcort f (1200-1500 yen)."

If you want to avoid steroids, Azunol ointment and the like are recommended.

<For allergies>
If you have itching all over your body due to allergies, there are oral antihistamines such as Alesion.

If the inflammation is severe, topical steroids are used. There are also non-steroidal ointments for this.
<For the delicate zone>
For mild itching in the delicate zone, the aforementioned "Fullcort f" is good, but if the cause is fungi (mold), it seems best to apply a cream containing antifungal agents such as "Butenarock (around 1200 yen)."

In any case, if symptoms do not improve, it is recommended to visit a medical institution.
So, for my next purchase, I will stop buying Kinkan and go with Liquid Muhi Alpha EX.
And I will place them everywhere so I can apply them quickly before I start scratching.
Thank you for reading.
I would appreciate it if you could like and follow.
I look forward to your continued support.
