After escaping the white holy city of Solas, Elise and her party finally reached her hometown of Reald. Having learned that her parents were once heroes who protected the village, and after reuniting with the village girl Rene, Elise realizes that her own magic is a "power for protection."
Having inherited the "Holy Ring" left behind by her grandfather Gallet, she calms the ancient guardian in the Cave of Trials, Relic Vane, and finally awakens the legendary relic, the "Shield of Light."

1. The Giant Shadow Breaking the Silence, The Ancient Ship "Ship of Light"
After finishing the life-or-death battle at the western cape "Relic Vane," the party returned to the village of Reald, which had begun to be enveloped in twilight. Following the guidance of Rene, the guardian of the legend, they arrived at the very edge of the village, directly beneath a sheer cliff where the rough waves bared their fangs.
As the sea breeze raged and only the sound of white waves biting at the rock surface echoed, Artorius drew his "Sword of Light" and held the newly awakened "Shield of Light" high toward the heavens.
"...I feel something."
As if responding to the presence Artorius felt, a dazzling white light erupted from the seabed, enveloping the entire cove.
Gogogogo... a rumbling that shook their hearts echoed out. The quiet sea surface rose in a hemisphere as if a giant creature were surfacing, and eventually, splitting the sea, the "Ancient Ship" that had been buried in the seabed sand for hundreds of years revealed its majestic form, raising a massive spray and shining pillars of water.
It was a crystallization of lost super-technology. The hull swayed slowly from side to side in the sunset, and its three masts glowed on their own as if absorbing the surrounding magic.
"...I can't believe it. A ship just like the one in Grandfather's ancient documents..."
Looking up from beneath the cliff, Elise was simply speechless. With this ship, they should be able to easily cross even the roughest seas and go anywhere in the world. The moment the legend became reality, breaking a three-hundred-year slumber. A soft light that seemed to bless the surroundings quietly overflowed from the hull.
2. The Lights of Home and Thoughts of Gallet
Then, the party quietly boarded the ancient ship. When Artorius reached out his hand to Elise, she grasped it firmly, renewing her determination for the voyage that was about to begin.
The ship slowly pulled away from the shore. Watching the lights of her hometown gradually fade from the deck, Elise adjusted her favorite hat, her complex expression reflected on the surface of the sea.
“Hey, Altorius, Zeke. We’ve ended up on this journey by chance, but...”
What came to her mind was the face of her grandfather, Garret, who should have been waiting for her in the frontier village of Windamere. At first, it was a journey like an escape to clear her name of bombing terrorism charges. Before she knew it, it had turned into a journey to awaken the legendary shield, obtain an ancient ship, and hold the fate of the world in her hands.
“I’m a little worried about Grandpa. He loves his drink, and he might be crying from loneliness right about now... I wonder if he’s living an unhealthy lifestyle. We can go back soon on this ship, right?”
To Elise’s anxious question, Zeke, who was checking the magic points on the mast, grinned, showing his white teeth.
“Oh, of course, my lady! With this ‘Ship of Light,’ Windamere is just a quick run away. ...Well, whether old man Garret is lonely, or whether he’s enjoying his freedom without you... Hahaha, well, I’d bet on him taking this opportunity to drink up all his precious liquor!”
“What did you say!? ...Honestly. Grandpa isn’t that kind of person! Don’t say such selfish things. But I hope he isn’t feeling lonely.”
Elise puffed out her cheeks like a squirrel in anger, but deep in her eyes resided a gentle family light—a deep love for her grandfather and a desire to return safely and boast about her adventures so far.
3. Confession on the Ship, “A Knight for You”
The setting sun dyed the sea surface a burning orange, and the ancient ship glided through it on the deck.
Altorius stood alone at the bow, staring at the “Sword of Light,” which had regained some of its brilliance by resonating with the shield. Although it had not yet fully regained its original power, the clear blade that had saved Altorius in many battles held the echoes of the swordsmanship he had once honed in the royal palace, pulsing quietly.
“Elise. ...I haven’t regained all my memories yet.”
Feeling Elise’s presence creeping up quietly from behind, he sheathed his sword and turned to face her, determined.
“Through this battle with the skilled swordsman Silva... and the nostalgia I felt the moment the shield awakened in your hometown... I am convinced. I am... Helios, the Prince of Exaltia. I remembered that, just a little... just a tiny bit. It was me... who was betrayed in the city of Ashbury that day and lost everything.”
Elise gasped and stood still for a moment. The shock that the man she first met, who was covered in mud and had even lost his own name, was truly a prince of legendary blood. However, what shook her heart even more were Altorius’s subsequent words.
“But the reason I am here now, looking up at the sky with everyone like this... is none other than because you picked me up. Because you called me ‘Altorius’ and brought me along on this journey.”
Altorius looked straight into Elise’s eyes without backing down an inch.
“So, here, I am Altorius. I will fight for you, as your knight.”
4. The Accessory Knight and the Full Moon Night
Elise was speechless at the knight’s vow, which was so serious and so sweet. Her heart pounded loudly, and her face flushed bright red.
“...W-what. Don’t suddenly say such stupid things with such a serious face!”
She could no longer bear it, and to hide her embarrassment, she slapped his silver-armored back with all her might. A sharp, ringing sound echoed across the deck.
"Are you listening? Everyone is fighting for their own sake! Don't get the wrong idea! You are also my possession... yes, just an 'accessory'! Don't you dare go making selfish vows without my permission!"
She lowered her head, her ears turning bright red, and walked away from the bow in a hurry as if to escape. Yet, her steps were somehow light and bouncy, and Artorius followed her, feeling the pleasant warmth on his back where she had struck him.
"...Heh, I can't listen to this anymore. You two can be as lovey-dovey as you want, but at least help with the sails, 'Sir Knight' and 'Princess'."
On the deck a little further away, Zeke shrugged and let out a sigh.
Carrying the secret feelings hidden in each of their hearts, the ancient ship glided across the night sea, moving forward with strength. Their destination was Windermere, the land where all stories began. There, a new door awaited, one that would allow them to overcome the threat of Will, who had been consumed by the evil god, and grasp the truth.
The sun had completely set, and the light of the full moon illuminated the surroundings in silver, as if blessing the three of them. The voyage to repaint past despair into hope was now accelerating. The crest engraved on Artorius's shield shimmered beautifully under the moonlight.
