To You Who Are Struggling with note | A Breakwater Before You Quit
I took the plunge and bought many paid notes.
I analyzed them during work breaks, between chores, and even sacrificed my sleep.
I spent time writing articles and finally managed to post them.
And yet...
I can't write.
They aren't read.
They don't sell.

And now, aren't you feeling
like this right now?

I struggled a lot too.
Embarrassingly, I still struggle now.
Since you are reading this article now,
aren't you struggling somewhere too?
If you'd like,
let me help you sort through those worries together.

“What would a total stranger know?”
“I don't want help from someone I don't even know.”
“I don't need that. I can handle it on my own.”
Some of you might have thought that.
Since you are giving me your valuable time,
it is natural to think that way.
Understanding that, I will say this.
Please give me just a little bit of your time.
If you read this article,
I think you will understand a little bit
about what kind of person I am.
If there is anyone who came back from my self-introduction article, thank you very much.
To those who opened this article for the first time,
thank you for meeting me here.
I will write this so that I don't make you regret
the precious time you have given me.
I will start with the conclusion right away.
What I think is important
for continuing note is...
“Enjoying it”
“Continuing it”
These two things.
Is this just motivational talk?
Didn't you just think that?
“How am I supposed to enjoy my current situation?”
“I'm looking at this article because I can't enjoy it.”
“I'm struggling because continuing is hard.”
I think some of you probably felt that way.
But, the “enjoying” I am talking about here“enjoying”is
not about forcing yourself to be positive.
It is not about pretending not to see the reality that things aren't selling.

Even if there are painful days,
keep a place where you can return to the reason why you write.
Even if you feel down comparing yourself to others,
keep a moment where you can think about trying to write in your own words again.
That is what I think of as“enjoying”it.
As of 9:10 AM on Friday, May 29th,
when I am writing this article.
I am writing with a very enjoyable feeling.
It is not because it is selling.
It is not because everything is going well.
It is because even while struggling,
I am able to write in my own words like this.
I am able to continue because I have this feeling.
Because it is fun, I can continue.
As a result of continuing, there are moments when it becomes fun again.
That is why I don't want you to give up right now.
Because there was a view that I could only see because I continued.
I left note alone for about 7 years.
When I restarted, my track record was zero.
Of course, it wasn't read from the beginning.
Even if I wrote paid articles, they didn't sell.
Traffic was low too.
I thought many times, “Is there any point to this?”
Even so, I continued.
Within a range I could enjoy.
Within a range where I didn't push myself.
At my own pace.
Then, little by little, changes started to appear.
I started to get likes on my articles.
I started to get comments.
I started to get follows.
And, one month after restarting, I finally
had my first sale of a paid article.
It is not a big achievement.
But for me, it was a big step.
I think I wouldn't have been able to see this view if I hadn't continued.
And ahead of this,
I will leave some hints that I thought were important for me to continue.
From those hints,
please find your own answer.
I don't intend to force the correct answer on you.
However, before you quit note,
I would be happy if I could become a place where you can stop for a little while.
I am writing this article with that feeling.

From here on, I will write about what I asked myself when I was actually struggling.
It is not the correct answer.
However, it might be a hint to find your own answer.
From here on, I will write about 3 things I actually asked myself when I felt “I can't write anymore.”
It is not the correct answer.
However, it might be a hint to find your own answer.
First
is to write down all your feelings in a blank note.
You don't need to post it.
It is okay if it is not a beautiful sentence.
“It's tough”
“I'm frustrated that it's not selling”
“I don't know what to write”
“I actually want to write about this”
It is fine to use words like that,
so first, try to put out what is inside you.
What is important is,
not words to show someone else, but
writing in your own wordsis.
Inside that, there are sometimes hints hidden for your next article.
Second
is to remember the articles you read unconsciously recently.
Why did you open that article?
Was it the title?
Was it the beginning?
Was it interest in the person writing it?
Was it because it was close to your own worries?
Try to think about that a little bit.
In the articles you naturally wanted to read,
there are hints you can use for your own articles.
Third
is to remember the paid articles you thought you “wanted to buy.”
Why did you want to buy it?
Was it because you were curious about the content?
Was it because you wanted to read from this person?
Was it because it seemed like it would solve your worries?
If you look at that, you can see a little bit of what readers are feeling before they purchase.
Thank you very much
for reading until the end.
If this article was able to lighten your feelings even a little, I would be happy.
It is okay if you don't feel better right away.
It is okay if you can't write right away.
However, because you read this article today,
“Maybe I'll try continuing a little longer”
if you could think that, that is enough.
When you feel painful again,
please come back anytime.
Likesandcommentsbecome encouragement and the driving force for writing notes.
If you thought it was even a little good, I would appreciate your support.
Let's meet in another article.
Thank you very much.
I...
want to be a breakwater before you quit
