A collection of about 200,000 books! Enhanced with an e-library and events
The collection covers a wide range of genres, from literature and business books to art-related titles. In 2024, the "Kikuchi Region E-Library" was also launched, making it possible to borrow books via smartphone or tablet.
In addition, many community-rooted events are held, such as storytime sessions for children and the creation of manga based on local history.
As an interesting initiative, there is a "Library Passbook" system where you can record the list price of the books you have read. Those who reach a cumulative total of 1 million yen are awarded the title of "Reading Millionaire" and a special tote bag.
