I found an incredibly fun app! Insect sound identifier helper "Mushinone"
Recently, the mornings and evenings have finally become cool, and it's starting to feel like autumn.
While walking, I've had more opportunities to be drawn to the sounds of insects.
I always used to just lump all the different sounds together and call them "bugs"—like "Oh, a bug is chirping!" or "Oh, it's a bug!"—and I felt a bit bad about it, but then I found a really wonderful app!!
It's called the insect sound identifier helper "Mushinone"!
This app is super convenient and fun because it detects and analyzes insect sounds as soon as you launch it, without needing any settings at all!!

At 11 PM, I thought, "A cicada has to be a mistake, right?" but when I looked it up, it said that the Ezo-zeze cicada is active around streetlights at night, and individuals chirping at night have been confirmed... I wonder if it was really there...
Until now, I just called them "bugs," but it's really fun to learn that there are even more subdivided species like bell crickets, pine crickets, field crickets, and bush crickets.
It's a recommended app for enjoying long autumn nights.
