[VRChat] I attended the 1st Katase High School Cultural Festival, the "Blue Summer Festival"!
On June 28, 2025, Katase High School held its memorable 1st cultural festival, the "Blue Summer Festival"! I'm going to give you a little look at how it went!
The 1st "Blue Summer Festival"
The "Blue Summer Festival" is a cultural festival held at Katase High School, where Hajime Yoshii serves as student council president! Katase High School was created as a place where people, including those from both inside and outside VRChat, can interact!
The 1st cultural festival, the "Blue Summer Festival," was held today, just a few months after Katase High School was established!✨✨✨
And at the 1st "Blue Summer Festival," there was a club tour where you could learn about the activities of the 8 clubs at Katase High School, a music video presentation by the Second Light Music Club, and afterwards, there was social time using a game world or NAGiSA~✨
■ Schedule for the day
To give you a rough idea of what the schedule for this year's 1st "Blue Summer Festival" was like!
Gather in the classroom for the opening ceremony & group photo
Move to the world with the gymnasium and schoolyard for the club tour
Move to the world with the beautiful starry sky for the Second Light Music Club's stage performance
Socialize with everyone in a game world or NAGiSA
Return to the classroom for the closing ceremony & group photo
That was the kind of schedule it was~~✨ I'm excited because I'm sure next year's cultural festival will have evolved in a different way than this one~♪
■ Opening Ceremony & Group Photo
At first, in the classroom, Hajime-san gave the opening remarks and explained the overall schedule! After that, we all took a group photo together, and the "Blue Summer Festival" began~~✨✨✨
■ Club Tour
For the club tour, we moved to the world with the gymnasium and schoolyard, and the members of each club split up to explain their activities to the people who came to their respective areas!
There are 8 clubs at Katase High School right now!!!
Second Light Music Club
VRC Photo-club
English Play Club
VRC + Drone Club
VVC (Virtual Volleyball Club)
World Tour Club
Game World Club
Sleep Club
I'm in the Sleep Club, and since I brought an impromptu booth using an avatar gimmick, I set it up right in the middle of the schoolyard... and slept on the bed in the booth lol
By the way, the Sleep Club isn't just about V-sleeping, it's about making sleep comfortable in real life too! If more people join in the future, I'd love to have a sleepover party with everyone! ✨✨✨
I also chatted and interacted with people from the World Tour Club, Game World Club, and Drone Club who were also in the schoolyard~~ ✨✨✨
The VRC Photo-club, English Club, and VVC (Virtual Volleyball Club) moved to different worlds midway through, where they actually experienced the activities and works displayed in those worlds!!!
■ Second Light Music Club Stage Performance
After the tour, there was a stage performance created by the members of the Second Light Music Club! It was such a wonderful music video work that I was completely mesmerized and forgot to take pictures 💦
So, I'm sorry that this photo is just of me greeting them after watching it (((>_<)))

I guess the work itself is a music video? The performance was great, and the video was shot with such attention to detail that it was fun to watch ✨✨✨
Plus, there was a making-of video that made me laugh~ ( *´艸`)
■ Socializing in a Game World or NAGiSA
After the stage performance, we split up into a game world or NAGiSA to socialize! This time, I went to the game world and visited a world called "GIGAS," which has been a hot topic lately, and had a great time with everyone~ ✨✨✨
It was my first time, but it was so much fun being able to hang out and enjoy it with everyone! ✨✨✨ There were some glitches where things didn't work quite right along the way, but even that became a fun memory. ♪♫
■ Closing Ceremony & Group Photo
After interacting with everyone, we went back to the classroom for the closing ceremony and took a group photo! ✨✨✨
Hajime-san gave some closing remarks and talked about next year, so I'm already excited for it!!!
It was a 3-hour event from 9 PM to midnight, but it flew by in an instant, and it was such a fun cultural festival, the "Blue Summer Festival," spending that wonderful time with everyone! ✨✨✨
